     Thanks angie. I think that he is like the male version of Meredith, he is a deeply wounded man and has a really hard time letting people know the real Alex. That is why his relationship with Eva and Addy have been so important. By the way, they are going to use my graphic for sure!!! :)

     Matt that's really great -- good for you! i was just watching that scene with ava and alex again and it seemed he was really unnerved when she was telling him that addison wanted him. his insecurities are to blame i'm guessing. he doesn't think he deserves her so he sabotages the relationship to make sure she doesn't pursue him and then regret it b/c she realizes he's not worthy. jeesh, they all need a shrink on that show! hey that's a good idea for a new character!!! lol

     Yeah, it does seem like that helped Meredith grow. I think that it is interesting to think about her and Alex being different sides of the same coin.

     "The people who suffer the most, are those who don't know what they want."-Meredith. I think that this is good for MerDer too, Because the do know what they want. They want each other, they just have to figure out how to make it work; and they are on their way!

     i think she was saying desire is hard to live with when you know what you want, but even harder to deal with when you don't know what you want. something to that effect teh_sare -- hope that helps!
