Didn't We Almost Have it All
-
I just noticed this from the first season episode 2. The roommate wanted ad that mer puts up. I paused it (like im sure most of you have) and i found something funny. Here is the whole thing for those of you that didnt read it: ROOMMATES WANTED: Two nice rooms with shared bath available immediately, close to Seattle Grace. Near coffee shop, public transportation, shopping, and convenient to almost everything. Non-smokers only please, no pets & no Bush supporters need apply. All applicants will need to have a credit check completed. First & last month's rent plus a deposit is required to move in. I thought it was funny that the writers of the show put something about Bush in the ad. And for anyone that is spell checking my post or checking for grammer. That is directly off the screen so if ya got a problem with sentence fragments contact Shonda Rhimes:) Does anyone know the song that plays when Mer and Der are operating on Katie Bryce in the first Episode? And why does Der say he was wearing a red shirt at the bar, when its clearly marroon. Has anyone else noticed that Patrick Dempsey always watches peoples mouths when they talk. I wonder if he is hard of hearing?Posted 6/16/2007 1:00:00 AM #

yes, indeed Ireland is a beautiful place although you Americans may find it quite expensive as the exchange rate is not working in your favour at the moment. however it is great value for us in the euro zone to travel over there!!! which is what i am doing later on this year twice!!! oh the shopping is just fantastic, and there is so much to see and do, and the portions sizes of the food!!! do you know that our supersize macdonalds is smaller than your regular!!! Pschyrembel, i agree about London, it is so expensive when you change your money. i love going to the west end to see the shows. we go to a different show each night when we are there!!! Pschyrembel, yes i sent over the lousy weather and yes, there is lots more to come. not good when you have 5 washes to dry!!! i have wet clothes all over the house!!! i try to use my tumble dryer sparingly as it eats electricity. my grass needs to be cut badly and it is too wet to cut and i can just see it jumping out of the ground. i spent the day cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning. if you saw me you wouldn't think it though as i did not even get out of my pyjamas!!! its hardly worth my while now - sure its nearly time to go back to bed - not before i watch the repeat of Thursday's Grey's - the appendicitis one!!!Posted 6/16/2007 1:00:00 AM #

my ten year old has a bit of a hearing problem but comes out with some classics - we are huge elvis fans - he is singing hound dog at the moment - you aint nothing but a hound dog, frying on the pan (crying all the time)!!!Posted 6/16/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Hi irish, you deserve Grey's tonight if you have been such a busy bee. Good girl! I made the best of the bad weather and went swimming with the kids. My hips hurt a little, because I had to climb a slide 1999 times, I guess. Meredith's house is not close to Seattle Grace, because everyone is going there by car and it takes a little while as you can tell in first seasons episodes. And I don't get tired to say how much I hate those flashback scenes with Derek in that not at all good looking red good looking shirt. And it is not maroon, it is rather a washed out tomato -red. And I have to admit: in episode 1 I never really looked at the shirt :-) O.K.- if anyone finds any spelling mistakes - you are welcome to keep them. Tomorrow I'll tell you something about Punctuation...Posted 6/16/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I don't think that it is his because in other scenes where he is half naked he doesn't look that young and worked out, he rather looks pretty normal (at least my husband didn't feel threatened). Not out of shape but just normal for somebody who is supposed to have a stressful job with not a lot of time to excercise or eat very healthy. On the other hand he is biking and that helps to keep in shape. I think I need another episdoe to be sure - so Shonda, please - pretty please with sugar on top. I don't really like those six-pack guys -did you ever try to rest your head on steel muscles? It is not very comfortable. And if your boyfriend or whatever is in good shape you always feel urged to do some sports yourself - how stressful. Not at all my cup of tea. So here is something about how punctuation can make a difference, as I promised: Private! No swimming allowed! Private? No, swimming allowed!Posted 6/17/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Lexie: Mark, I'm dying. Please tell Meredith I love her and that she is a good sister.
