    WOW what a preview. I felt sorry for Alex, he looked like he had know idea how to handle the situation, especially when the mention of babies was talked about. Der also looked really sad - he needs a shave, he still is hot but for there to be romance in the elevator, he needs a shave. can't wait for this episode, hurray up time!

    Please do not take offense at this comment (I have been accused of calling other bloggers "people" in the past): Why are you people talking about the proposal?  I mean, I know it's super important and MerDer fans, myself included, want to see it happen.  But this episode is totally about Izzie!  Not MerDer!  Izzie could DIE - and I really really hope she won't but she could.  So I think we should focus a little less on where the ring is and a little more on how Izzie's surgery is going to go and how Shepherd is going to handle it.  This is a huge storyline and even if the proposal happens I doubt it will be the focus of the episode.  Seriously.

    I agree with what your saying Paddisonluvr, and I really do hope Izzie doesn't die, becuase she is a great character, but I am a bit more excited about the proposal. I know Izzie and her surgery is a big part of the episode, but so is the proposal, it took 5 years in the making. But that saying I will still be an emotional reck if Izzie dies

    well, i dont think they would dedicate a whole episode just to izzie and her surgery.

    i just hope the proposal isnt a two minute scene at the end of the episode, like the merder scenes the past few weeks.

    Yeah hopefully it will be a long one - but I think that it will be at the end of the episode after derek's surgery with Izzie goes well, and then from elation he will pop the question to mer. Or it will be a cliffhanger til the next episode - which would suck
