Seeing as we have all this time to kill between episodes, and we are approaching the 100th episode, I was curious to know what everyone's favourite episode is. It's so hard to just choose one, but I personally would have to say the last 3 episodes from season 2: are my overall favourites (they're sort of joined together anyway) as they are just so intense.

Very hard to chose only one indeed :P Just a few of my fav, by season:
- 1.9 (Who's Zoomin' Who?): Addison appearence it's a classic on Grey's. " "So, you're the woman who's been screwing my husband" - Awsome ending!
- 2.18 (Yesterday): Mark's first appearence at SGH. Loved Mark and Meredith scene on the end, when both were hoping dirty mistresses a happy ending, and the sequence where Grey girls come up with McSteamy. Also the sad story about the boy who wanted to look normal.
- 3.16/3.17 (Drowning On Dry Land/ Some Kind of Miracle): The episodes where Meredith , I think all characters were fabulous on that one;
- 4.16 (Freedom): Derek's finally succeeds at the clinical trial, Meredith finally gets it all regarding her mom and herself, the sad and tragic love story of Jeremy and Beth, the sad end for Ava's storyline, the poor boy stuck on concrete and of course all the season finale kisses!
- 5.19 (Elevator love letter): mostly for Cristina/Owen and Alex scenes. Dark, deep and tearjercker scenes!

This is going to be hard, but I'll try!
- 1.02 (The First Cut is the Deepest): I love Meredith and Derek in this episode :) the quote at the end and the music.
- 2.16,17 (It's the End of the World, As We Know It): Meredith and Cristina's friendship, the Meredith and Derek scene at the end when he remembers the last time they kissed, and George and Bailey when she's in labor.
- 3.11,12 (Six Days part I and II): Meredith and Derek scenes!
- 4.16 (Freedom): The two cancer patients Jeremy and Beth, clinical trial success, candlehouse, the Izzie and Alex scene at the end with all the kisses.
- 5.19 (Elevator Love Letter): Cristina and Owen, Meredith and Cristina's friendship, the Alex and Meredith scene, everything with Izzie, Meredith supporting Derek, saying she loves him, and the proposal!
Really similar to Anikas :p

I have too many to name, so I'll narrow it down to three:
S1E9: "Who's Zoomin' Who?" - I absolutely love George in this episode. The syphilis thing is so humiliating and funny. And the actor himself likes this one, haha. Love Addison's entrance. I love how she's so New York Biotch showing up in Seattle to tear MerDer apart.
I just know the season, but not the episode number: "Six Days pt. 2" - This is the episode that got me into the show. It's always going to hold a special place in my heart, so it deserves to be mentioned. The girl with scoliosis walking, George's father dying... It was such an emotional episode and so many people can relate to some of the events that had happened.
I know it's season two, but I don't remember the episode or title. But it was the one with Bex. I love George in this one (well, I love him in every episode, but especially this one as well). The way he communicates with Bex is so sweet.
A few others are "Thanks For The Memories," "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer," "The First Cut Is The Deepest," "A Hard Day's Night," "What Have I Done To Deserve This?," "Yesterday," and "My Favorite Mistake" (Gizzie!).
You can't pick just one :-)

Season 1: - Save Me - I absolutely love the flirtation between Derek and Meredith and then the very last scene where he takes her to his trailer and tells her a little about him...love it!!! - Who's Zoomin' Who - before Addison shows up love the whole 'special super secret silent sunset surgery' haha and of course the chemistry between Derek and Meredith again
Season 2: - Thanks for the Memories - love the ending when Meredith and Derek have either talk and she tells him that he wouldn't be him if he wasn't trying - As We Know It - I know wierd one to like...but I love the ending when they recall their last kiss!!!
Season 3: - Time Has Come Today - my all time favorite episode, with Izzie laying on the floor and then the emotion of taking off the dress at the end, love the flashbacks, oh and Derek tells Meredith that he's in love with her!!! - Staring at the Sun - bathtub scene that's all I have to say
Season 4: - Haunt You Every Day - hilarious episode, love when the little boy calls Mark daddy, ahh mark's face is priceless, end is a little creepy though with the whole putting dead mommy down the drain - Freedom - candle house!!! amazing!! and Beth survive the clinical trial making it a success!!
Season 5: - Stairway to Heaven - Amazing acting at the end by Ellen Pompeo!!! - Elevator Love Letter - DUH of course this is a favorite one!!! Izzie survives her first surgery, amazing acting by majority of the cast!!! and the PROPOSAL, which left me speechless really it was just amazing!!!

freedom- You can't beat when Meredith lays the candles out, the most romantic moment ever! also the whole Beth and Jeremy thing :(-i cry every time.
into you like a train- i think this was the first episode i saw, and just thought it was pretty cool for 2 people to be impaled on a metal pole.if love was enough...
losing my religion-i love the bit where meredith and drek are dancing and they just look at each other. then "grace" is played and your happy that dereka and meredith are back and sad at denny at the same time. i just hate when alex has to lift izzie off the bed in dat dress-its so sad :(
elevator love letter- the proposal, how can this not be anyones fav season 5.everyone was just waiting for it. also izzie survived er first surgery which is gd. :)

Beat your heart out - good for humour
Season 3 finale - brilliant acting, very sad
Elevator love letter - really happy!
Its too hard! I was getting clips from u tube to put on my phone and I tried thinking of all the best moments but all of them are!

Losing My Religion- DUH! Exam room sex! I also love the prom especially when Mer and Der are dancing and Derek is like glaring a hole through Meredith's head.
Where the Boys Are- I don't know why but I love this episode. I love the MerDer scene at the end!
Staring At the Sun- MerDer scenes and the cute little girl.
Freedom- I love Beth and Jeremy. The candle house is almost unbeatable (the proposal is equal)
I Will Follow You Into the Dark- I love and hate this episode. I hate the character Derek here because he was a complete jackass. I love Patrick Dempsey's acting in this it was just amazing.
Elevator Love Letter- This was my favorite episode of all time. The proposal was amazing.

Hmmmm...Hard to choose, like everyone else said.
Season 1 - I can't pick one from this season. Since there were only 9 episodes, I thought all of them were excellent. I really love all of the Mer/Der flirting in this season, and I think my favorite scenes are when she kisses him in the elevator, and at the end of Save Me, when he shows her his trailer. If forced I think I would pick Shake your Groove Thing as my fav episode that season. I love the "take me for a ride Derek" scene.
Season 2 - Losing My Religion is my favorite with the Mer/Der scenes from the prom, it is heartbreaking to see what happens with Izzie and Denny, but the acting is superb. Also, "As we Know it" I LOVE LOVE LOVE when Derek comes running asking "where is she?" and the chief shows him Addison, and Adele says "That is not the she he was asking for." I also find the scene where Cristina tells Mer that Burke said I love you to her to be a great one. It is classic Mer/Cris. And then there is the scene at the end where they recall the last kiss they had. Awwwww, I love that he remembers all of those small details.
Season 3 - Time Has Come Today. So emotional with all the stuff Izzie and the interns are going through because of Denny, and then of course, Derek's "I Love You" speech to Meredith. I also love the scene in I am a Tree with Mer's panties on the bulletin board. And I love Staring at the Sun because of the bathtub scenes. What I Am is also one of my favorites, I love when everyone thinks Mer is pregnant, too funny, and also love when she is high on the medicine and babbling, Too Funny! The episodes where Mer is drowning/dead are also really intense. I love the scene where Derek is sitting in the hall with Mark worrying about her, and that Addison realizes just how much he really loves Meredith. And Cristina at the dollar store and bar is awesome to watch (sad but awesome)
Season 4 - Freedom. Hands down. House of Candles, Beth lives, Great episode!!Also one of my ALL TIME favorite scenes is when Derek is in the elevator in Piece of My Heart and ends up with Meredith, Addison, Rose and then Mark all in and Mark says "Bet you're wishing you took the stairs right about now" Classic!
Season 5 - Obviously "Elevator Love Letter" is at the top of the all time list. I thought EVERYONE was fantastic in that episode. Great acting by all. I love Meredith being strong and committed and showing Derek that she loved him and he could and had to do this. Izzie survived her first surgery, Alex "snooched in a cup" there was great stuff in this episode. I also love "Stairway to Heave" when Derek is waiting for Meredith after Williams execution and fixes her and Cristina. My favorite quote from this season (aside from the proposal) has got to be the
Derek: Meredith, I want your crappy babies.Meredith: Hah, you do?Derek: All of them
Loved that, sweet, cute and funny all in one.
Sorry, this is very long, but I LOVE my Grey's and can't pick just one favorite!
