Okay I've watched this scene like eight times now, and greysanatomyismylife you're right it doesn't get better. One thing that does make me upset is when right after Derek's hits the ring with the bat, the look on Meredith's face is upsetting. She look's scared and upset. But she stood her ground, and that's very un-Meredith like. Our Meredith is truely growing up!

THe proposal will be worth the wait..After all that meredith and derek had been through, the writers should make sure they could make all things right for both of them..we want happy endings..the proposal is the one to watch..i just can't wait..

I agree, the proposal will be worth everything. It will be so worthwhile to watch. I think derek will find the ring, I mean he has to, its his mothers ring, if he didn't find it he would be living with so much guilt. I think mer will forgive him though, she knows what he's going through, and I think she'll give him the benifit of the doubt

Oh my God!!!! Derek cannot, I repeat CANNOT quit!!!! I don't know if i'd feel thesame about the show if he quit working at SGH! I hope and pray to God that Meredith talks some sense into that head of his. Honestly, he looks like crap when he's drunk...and on top of that, I thought that it was B.S. that he hit the engagement ring for Mer all the way across the field! I can't wait to see what happens. This sort of thing makes me get addicted to Grey's Anatomy and I can't wait for the next episode.

there is no way that Derek is going to stay away from Seattle Grace for long. If you look at the episode guide for elevator love letter, it says that all eyes are on derek as he is performing his first surgery since quitting. My guess is that the surgery is on Izzie.

come on, people!
of course, Derek isn' going away, like quitting the show,
they're just finally doing something big on the show, and I don't think Derek has ever been in such an "off" position as he is now. and I think at this point Meredith has a big chance to show how much she has grown. Derek will eventually realize that and then they will both be ready to kiss and make up and get married and have lots and lots of babies and a nice house on that weird cliff of theirs
and I expect to see some great acting from Patrick Dempsey, it's his big chance I think!
Again, I loved Owen and Cristina scenes, I thought it was really cool how Cristina reacted after Owen accidentaly pushed her: "Morning..." Just love her!
And again, I have to say,... Doesn't Mark just seem so much cuter and adorable (and younger for that matter) now that he's with Lexie (who didn't break him but put him back together) HOW FRICKIN' OWESOME!
AND i really like Izzie's choice to tell Cristina,she's never gonna let it go, she'll make Izzie go through surgery (that will be performed by McDreamy and will save her).
....can' wait for thursday!

I agree with you on all counts, Anja!
No worries about McDreamy not coming back to SGH-- of course he'll come back. And I fully believe that we will get our MerDer proposal and our MerDer make-up scenes! Watching this is fantastic, though-- you know it's great writing and great acting when you know how the outcome will be, but still are totally sucked into what's going on 100%!!! PD is shining! Mer has grown so much and it is so great to see!!! Anyone ever been the dark and twisty drink-it-all-away person in the past and now have grown up from that???!!! It is so amazing to watch in Mer-- she has overcome so much and her strength is phenomenal to see. Ellen just really makes this newfound strength shine right through in Mer's character!!
I agree with you about Mark seeming so cute, b/t how he feels about Lexie and his awesome friendship w/ Callie, full of it's witty quips and amazing chemistry. I still do feel a bit on the fence about Mexie, though.... Lexie did really well last epi in that scene w/ Izzie. I love Lexie scenes like that. But she'd go a long way in my book if she'd push Mark to go help Derek. (this would show Lexie as having her own strength-- more than just a love-sick school girl). Despite their fight and ruffled feathers, Mark needs to step up to the plate and be there for Der. If Lexie pushed him, I think he'd pretty quickly put that male pride aside and be there for Der. He's got a chance to win back trust. And be the friend he should be to Der. Like when he went and sat next to Der in the hallway when everyone was working on reviving Mer after her drowning. Der needed him then. I think he needs him now too.
You're very right about Cristina-- she will be vicious about not letting it go and pushing Izzie. But at this point, Izzie is starting to lose it emotionally, so I think it's time someone else gets let in on the secret-- someone who will emotionally support Izzie. With that, and Cristina's drive, we got a shot at getting Izzie going w/ treatment.
I simply can not wait for Thursday-- the epis are so strong and powerful. My addiction is getting worse by the epi!

can't believe I forgot
and you're right about Lexie, I think she's a lot better now, i think there is some great potencial in developing her caracter (still think they should bring her dad back and streighten that alcoholism out)

I agree^^. Derek will be back at SGH soon. He'll apologize for being a bastard to Meredith and the proposal will totally be worth it.

I'm totally loving Mark now! He's so adorable and hilarious (always has been) but his storyline gets better and better. I really didn't like Lexie when she first came on the show but I really like her now and I'm interested to see what happens with her and Mark. He's changed and he really likes her. Very sweet. <3
Yeah agreed about Mcdreamy.. of course he's not leaving.. its temporary..
