   You mean injured from the icicle? It was in 5x01-02 Dream A Little Dram Of Me. And it wasn't Derek, but Cristina ;)

   yes tlouie is correct ,

   it was cristina who got hit in the stomach with an icicle,

   not derek

   ;)
