     Thanks for explaining. Now, wasn't there an episode before where Alex was telling truth and hurt people by acting that way. I'm not so sure, but wasn't that when Addison made a woman infertile during ceasar's cut for her 7th (or whatever) child and the woman asked her not to tell her husband. Alex has a thing for the truth and the reason must be found within his past especially with his parents. I think they just prepare a plot line about Alex. Did our new residents have to pick a direction yet? If they do good on something special I always wonder where they are gifted most.

     That's Alex's thing, he tells the truth. I remember him saying this to Burke one time. Sometimes the truth needs to be told and sometimes he does it out of spite. I don't think the residents have picked specialies yet. Do Meredith and Cristina have to chose heart and brain b/c of their men (ex-men)?

     I agree. As I said, I think Alex says things like that because that's his defence/coping mechanism. Its how he deals and/or reacts to things. I don't thing they have to chose a specialtiy just yet. Not sure though. They can chose whatever they wish I suppose subject to any hospital limitations.

     Crazy busy at work today and I havent had a chance to really get on here today...I though it was a great episode and I am glad they didn't focus too much on MERDER. I was shocked as hell when George walked in and said he slept with Izzy! I really like Lexie and Meredith being a big sis...I think Lexie will be the one who be able to help Meredith the most with all of her issues.... P.S ALEX IS AN ASS FOR TATTLE TELLING ON GEORGE....guess Lexie won't be sleeping with him anytime soon...

     I REPEAT BELOW WHAT I POSTED IN THE SPOILER COMMENTS WITH ONE MORE COMMENT - I THINK THE GREY'S TEAM SUFFERS FROM LIVING IN THE WARPED LIFE PERSPECTIVE FROM LOS ANGELES. I AM NOT WATCHING AND HAVE TRASHED THE DVD COLLECTION. That’s it for me - screw you Grey’s team. I just removed Grey’s from my DVR and will not watch this season. AND I know that I’m not the only one. Your arrogance - to think viewers with a brain would put up with more than 3 tears of this crap for Pompeo/Dempsey — the only classy Hepburn/Grant ish chemistry you have going. What’s the matter - can’t you think of anything ELSE to manipulate to keep people watching?pathetic. GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK.

     Shonda said that Alex was going off the whole pecking order idea and the fact that he cannot lie when he does that to George. Not that it is the nice thing to do, but for Alex and his code, it was the right thing to do.
