    APRIL 19TH?!?!? YAYYYYYYY!!!!!!! haha. that made my day right there. Is there one on the 26th still though? or are they skipping that date instead? and mcdreamy02,you're right about derek not being ready to be cheif. but i dont think any of the others are either. burke is doubting himself. addison will be gone. and everyone would be resentful of mark. also, i cant see colin coming in now and being cheif.. so this should be.. interesting. and speaking of addison, that scene with alex i wasnt expecting haha.

    okay i guess i can deal with 3 weeks of reruns....but only b/c this epi was sooooooooo good!!!! i'm sorry i missed your comment last night Matt. derek is such a tortured soul and it breaks my heart to see him in so much pain. at least he has people he can confide in and he is reaching out to them. that is a good sign that he will come through it okay (and having sex w/mer is another good way to come through it as well!) did anyone see my question about addison and izzie's conversation? i'm really interested to hear what you all think.

    I loved the MerDer scene at the end! But i was confused about what derek was telling the chief--about where he'll be in 10 years...is that a good thing for him and mer..like is that showing how much he loves her...or is he saying that it's an annoyance or something?

    yea, i was thinking about iz and addie's scene, and i dont know, did she say married man, or was it just adulterous bc that could just mean, sleeping with someone you shouldnt.

    How can George keep "the secret" from Callie and Izzy will be ok.Gee Mcdreamy is more devestated about Mer's near death by drowning than she is.Oi vey make Baily they chief already!So now that Burktina are back on,with the new doc exit?

    i dont think george CAN keep a secret like that. his concience will eat at him until theres nothing left. he will have to face the facts that what happened DID happen and he cant just brush it away and forget. callie will end up getting burned, not that he wants to hurt her, but hes too sweet and he loves her too much to live a lie. derek is worried b/c he knows she gave up when she was in the water. he doesnt realize that the reason she lived is b/c she realized that he needs her and she is important to people. she has come to terms w/ the experience, his worrying goes to show how much he loves her and is afriad of losing her b/c he came so close.

    George is lucky that he remembers something .... Believe me a man can easily forget that he had one night stand -- woman have a better memory for that. But I speak from experience I am not Shonda of course. I recognize so many situation that I saw or experienced during my professional life (40 years which ended a couple of years ago)and it brings up a so many memories. I must admit it was a good episode. Too little of Callie's dad, I always liked that actor. So 4 more épis and then we are done for season 3. Time flies.

    irish......they showed us der/mer having sweet and tender foreplay--the end of which we were not allowed to see! mer was kissing him to take away his stress and they were rolling around on the bed. the tenderness we should see every episode! ;) McDreamyMmMmM........i'm not really sure where derek was going w/that thought. i think they were just trying to show us how tortured he is by the fact that meredith's choices in life (and death) are her own --- he can't control her thoughts and feelings. so that's why he's unsure of his future. that's my take on it anyhow. shades_of_grey.........thx for responding to my question. i only remember izzie saying she had sex with the wrong person. addison is the one who said adulterous first i believe. i have to watch the epi again today to ck it out for sure. but the only way i can take "adulterous" is to mean sex with a married person. so addie definitely knew or assumed izzie had adulterous sex without izzie ever actually saying it or mentioning names. strange. maybe they cut some of that scene or something because how could addison be so tuned in to izzie's feelings, but her own friends are not? meredith and cristina had no clue and they were in the next room! again, i think you are right on w/your callie/george scenario.
