Reply to PostPre-empted GA this Thursday night ???????

I think some of us that are in the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference ) region will be pre-empted for the basketball tournament starting on Thursday!!!!!!!! I may be wrong, but I think it will be televised on the ABC network. I was so upset yesterday when my sons and I were watching the Carolina/Duke game and we were talking abou the ACC tournamnet. Then I realized it started on Thursday. I went online and it said it was televised through Raycom and my sons think it will be on the ABC network.. I am SOOOO upset. I know I can record it when it is televised probably like 2 or 3 in the morning but I was sooo looking forward to watching it on Thursday night!!!! I ean we have only waited THREE weeks for this episode. I 'm anxious to see what the network says as far as when we'll get to see GA if it is pre-empted. I'm in North Carlina. I just didn't know if anyone else has thought about this that is in the ACC region of this tournament. I hope I'm wrong! ........Kathy

Hmm that's weird.. well I hope not where you're at.. did you check tvguide.com? Maybe it will show what channel the tournament would be on.. Aww well they play it online on Fridays at abc.go.com Good luck

Sometimes they replay it on saturdays on abc at 8, im not sure if they will this week.

Well it seems that my GA @ 9:00 Thursday night will be pre-empted due to the basketball tournament. BUT, the GOOD news is the ABC channel will be airing GA and Private Practice on Thursday MORNING starting @ 1:00 A.M. So, actually I'll get to see it even sooner than waiting until Thursday night! I'm super excited about that! I don't know if tomorrow night if I just want to wait up and watch it at 1:00 am (being a diehard fan as I am) or watch it before going to work on Thursday morning. I'm naturally recording it either way. ALso, I'm sure by the ballgame pre-empting several states that will be airing the tournament, I would think that would make a BIG difference in the ratings for Thursday night. I hope that it is taken in consideration when they figure the ratings. We want GA to have high ratings! I guess we'll see...Kathy

where are you seeing that the basketball game will be played during grey's?? i've looked at both tv guide and comcast listings for my area (GA) and it says that grey's will still be on

Looks as if GA will air in my area @ 1:00 am Thursday morning. I will have my DVR set!

I am not sure how many areas it will involve. I guess the cities/states that are in the ACC. (Atlantic Coast Conference)....Kathy
