    I think I read somewhere that the woman pictured with Derek is an old mentor of his from New york. We'll see, I guess.. Hey - does anyone think that the two drunk interns that hook up might be Izzie and Alex? I know the promo shows George & Izzie but, they are notorious for misleading us....I don't think George hooks up with Izzie. One picture on greys-media.com shows Alex sleeping in George's bed at Meredith's house.

    Many people have mentioned wanting some relief from the intensity of the drama on Grey's lately. This will not be a popular opinion, but I find the serious drama of late suits me. I am so happy with the last 3 episodes that I am not even thinking about the new one. I am still savoring every special moment from those 3. The day of Drowning on Dry Land, I had heard that Derek was not going to be the one to rescue Meredith, and was feeling very down about it. I will never forget how I felt when I saw him coming out of the water, carrying the love of his life in his arms. I burst into tears and couldn't stop crying even after the show ended. But even through tears, it felt so satisfying to see Meredith & Derek discover the depth of their love for each other. Meredith learned that Derek made life worth fighting for, painful though it may be. Derek really became Meredith's knight in shining armour, and made me a believer too. I know things need to keep moving with the other characters, but I almost feel like I could never watch GA again and be happy to just remember it like this. almost...of course I couldn't really.
