Ok, I will start. I read that the season 6 premiere will be called "Brand New Eyes". I associate that with Izzie surviving and seeing the world differently, appreciating the idea of life more than she used to. And also, probably, different opinion about life and important decisions in it from other characters after experiencing everything that happend.

I guess you all know, but i will repeat that Katherine Heigl is returning to Grey's, but T.R.Knight isn't.

We know that there will be a priest, but not for a wedding, but for "far less celebratory thing", and I think we can all predict what that means, the funeral of our beloved George.

It is also said that the season premiere won't go couple of months into the future, like some sources hinted, it will continue right where it left off. But, I don't understand how is that going to play out, if T.R. won't be back at all, they have to at least shoot him while he dies on the operating table. I don't know, that confuses me a little bit. I mean, maybe they filmed his end in season 5, while he was officially on the show, but that would mean that they were basically playing fans, and I don't like to belive they did. Sorry if it this was insesitive, I hate that George is going to die (I mean obviously)...

We know that the Board member, Larry Jennings will be back (but only for the premiere epis as far as I know) . Is it time for Richard to finally retire? I hope not, I love him being the boss, but I have to say I'd like to see Derek in the position of the Chief of Surgery.

There will be a medical trauma case, like there always is, a woman and her son, as far as we know.

They are also searching for someone who would play an oncologist resident, so does that hint that Izzie's cancer might not be gone?

And finally, I read that the season premiere will be a two part episode (I mean 2 hours of an all new Grey's Anatomy episode).

    Looking forward to it.

Ok, post your opinions. I'd like to know what you think. I made (as you can see XD) a resime of all we know for now, but feel free to add anything you hear of course.

Interesting ideas merder, I also heard Krista Vernoff will be the writer of this episode, not Shonda. (Hopefully Shonda writes it, no offense to Krista. She rocks.)

I really love George, and the way he's developed as a character throughout the seasons. Although, T.R. seems like such an amazing guy himself too, he was always my favorite character and I think he's such a hero in real life and Grey's. It's a tie between him and Meredith. God, I think I could rant all day about T.R. and the characters. But anyway, it's a shame that he is leaving the show. I feel so bad, but we can only wish him the best of luck on Broadway.

I hope IF this is the end of George, that he gets the best damn scene of the show, he deserves it. And that priest, that priest better be the best damn priest.

And Chief, oh the Chief. I hope he doesn't retire, maybe Larry Jennings will be there for George or Izzie. Being Chief, BELONGS to Chief. No one can replace him.

Obviously, the medical case belongs to Bailey since she decided to divorce Tucker and start her job in the Pediatrics Zone. Which is great, GO BAILEY. So maybe this will be the first step in Bailey's new career.

Whooo, for the 2 hour season premiere!

That's all I have to say, unless you want me to continue to rant on about Grey's...

Good idea of Larry's reason to be there. This whole thing about George annoys me.

I'm so sorry T.R. left. I read minutes ago an article where he explains why he left. He said it was lack of screentime, and the fact that George became this man he could't recognize, cheating on his wife with his best friend. And also, after the incident with IW he said it was frustrating that it took 3 months for Shonda to publicly condemn IW for that, and she also, according to him, didn't want him to go publicly about his sexuality. In the end, he said it was time to move on, because he wants to be fulfilled while doing his job, it's not everything about the money. He is really great, he values important things rather than just money, like most of the stars.

I'm not so sure Bailey will chose Peds, maybe she'll stay in General Surgery... She said in the season 5 finale that she is divorcing Tucker, but that she is gonna stay in General Surgery, because as a single mum she wouldn't have time for the training process for Peds and for little Tuck. But, I really hope that she goes to Peds, that's where she belongs.

Oh, and Krista Vernoff is also an amazing writer, she wrote couple of great epis. She wrote episode 6 from season 2 "Into You Like A Train", and that was one hell of an episode.

Ok, I'm going to add few new things I read.

First, it seems that Ellen's pregnancy definitely won't be written to the show. Ausiello's exact words were "Meredith wouldn't be pregnant [right now]". So, I'm pretty convinced Shonda won't write that in. Although I think Mer will definitely get pregnant somewhere down the road to the end.

About Ellen's maternity leave we know that they found the solution in filming scenes with her in advance, but Shonda also said that they have "a lovely story [on deck] that will take us into her maternity leave". Wonder what that would be... Grieving desperately about George (I really thought her reaction "would be taken for granted") is not a lovely story, in my opinion...

She also said that "the entire cast will be following T.R.Knight out the door". Does that mean everyone will say their goodbyes to George like they should?

And, finally, Amy Madigan will be back for the second hour of the season premiere, to reprise her role as Seattle Grace's shrink, Dr. Wyatt. Does this indicate we'll see something more of Owen's PTSD? I hope not, I want him to stay with Cristina and for them to be happy, they are a nice couple.

Yeah Krista's episodes are pretty epic. "Into You Like A Train" was AMAZING and "Six Days Pt. 1 &2" were both outstanding episodes. Atleast I thought.

Dr. Wyatt should be interesting, I mean she helped Meredith become "whole and healed" so maybe she can help Owen with closure on his PTSD.

Yeah I think you're right about Bailey. Perhaps she does stay in General Sugery and not choose Peds, guess we'll have to see.

Ellen's maternal departure better be great, because I think if the show can't be just as good without Mer, then that signifies a downhill future I think. But I don't know. Mer can't be pregnant, it's just not her even if she has changed.

George. GEORGEEE, we'll miss you. I'd take T.R.'s side rather than Shonda's anyday, as well as the other great actors. It's just not right, the way he was tossed around like that, I feel for him.

Let's see... 1 day and 2 months! Whooo!

I read that Katherine Heigl said George is definitely dead, and they shot it, if I understood well, she said something like "we had to do a scene with George's death and Justin (Chambers) kept saying something like he's imagining T.R. in Broadway and we all laughed, but it was weird, cause we all knew T.R. would be laughing as well if he was there". They of course weren't mocking to T.R., they pictured him in some funny role.

I mean, we all kind of knew it somewhere inside ourselves, but it's different when you hear it from a cast member...

George and T.R., you will always be remembered. Thank you for everything.

P.S. T.R. looks great on the cover of Entertaiment  weekly...

Damn, poor George. I guess this progresses the show in some way. But if T.R. is happy, then let's not make a big deal out of it.

Well, I'm a guy. But I agree, I would hang out with him if I had the oppurtunity.

So MerDer, what are your 5 favorite Grey's episodes? (I know this is off topic, but I always like to hear)

God, I cannot pick just 5 but, I'll try...

My all time favorite epi is "Some Kind Of Miracle", when they get Meredith back to life after her almost fatal drowning. I think I watched it a dozen times. It's my favorite because it is the episode from which I became a total Grey's addict.

Then, I guess goes the season 4 finale (can I count it like one epi? I can't pick only five), I adored the ending, although I have to say I hated he left Mer in the middle of that house.

After that season 5 finale (I count these as 1 epi, I know they were both 2 parts, but, like I said, it's hard to pick just 5), it was so amazing, and I realised John Doe was George when Mer said that "Oh, God". I think Shonda did an amazing job with that epi, it was so full of emotions, she succeded in hiding John Doe's identity (at least I was clueless until we found out), and I (as a huge Mer fan) particularly liked her message "tell the people you love how much you love them while they can hear you".

Then, the 2-part bomb epi (again, counting like one...), acting was brilliant, it was such an intense epi, everything was just so great.

And, in the end, I would have to say of course "Elevator Love Letter", not just because of the proposal (although that is the biggest reason), but Izzie/Bailey interaction, and Meredith being there for Derek when he needed her.

There, my 5 favorite epis (although it was more than than 5, but... what can I say, all the epis are so good).

And, honorable mentions go to "Superstition", "Piece of My Heart", "Stairway to Heaven", "What a Difference a Day Makes" and "From a Whisper To a Scream".

P.S. Which are your favorites (5, or more of them)?

Oh my god, we have like the same taste in episodes. Well, all Grey's episodes are super amzingly awesome, I do have a top five...and of course several other favs. But I would have to say season 2 is by far the greatest season.Well, here they are:

    1) Break On Through- I think this episode is simply one of the classic Grey's epis. It totally captures the Grey's spirit. I love it.

    2) It's the End of the World, (As We Know It)- Well I consider these two one episode too. Two words: Academy Award? Once I start watching it, I can't stop. Even if I've watched a million zillion times, it's still SO great. I can't describe it.

    3) Time Has Come Today- Once again, I think this episode captures the classic Grey's spirit. It's comedic, yet dramatic. Great episode.

    4) Here's to Future Days, Now or Never- Once again, two=one. What can I say, nothing. Absolutley nothing. I was so speechless after watching this, I couldn't even say a word. To see these people who were once interns and "teenaged", become adults and grow up, really just breaks my heart. I'm glad for the "growing up" though, but it's so hard to believe. I mean, go back and watch Season 1, then watch this. It gets to you.

    5) Freedom Pt. 1- At first I thought this episode was boring, except for the ending. But as I watch it now, I love it. When George (tear) gets to take his test again, when Callie and Hahn kiss, when Christina teaches Lexie, when Bailey gives the keys to Izzie, when Chief kisses Adele, and finally when Meredith kisses Derek, it all perfectly concludes a great Season 4.

Then there's: Forever Young (S4), A Hard Day's Night (S1), Into You Like A Train (S2), What I Am (S3), I Will Follow You Into the Dark (S5)

Ah, this was hard. But there you have it.

What do you think will happen in Season Six given the facts provided? (Thanks to this SUPER website.)
