You don't have to wait 2 wks. The preview that said 2 weeks was for the GA/Strong Medicine crossover episode. Next weeks episode is "beat your heart out"

Wait. Really?? That's what I thought but why didn't they have a promo for "Beat Your Heart Out"???
But Derek was being an amazing BF to Meredith. He put the work stuff aside and comforted her and when he couldn't he made Christina make up with Mer! That was soo amazing of him!

yeah. Look to the right of the message board right here on this page. It says TV schedule. That's where I got it, cuz at the end of the episode, I said the same thing to my husband.. "What? I can't wait two weeks to see what happens" He said I was obsessive, and I agree. But that's OK.

I never, EVER run right to my computer after an epi. I just don't. BUT....
THIS EPI WAS SO POWERFUL!!!
My quick thoughts--
1- Mer at the end. Oh my goodness. Oh my. I have never seen a scene so heartbreaking. Oh my. Excrutiating watching her cry like that. Yet, so good watching her cry like that. That is the real Mer that Mer never shows. That was like the lifetime of cries that she never cried- just coming out all at once. Death. Death that she almost wanted for herself. Death that she flirted with so carelessly, as Dr. Wyatt has pointed out in the past. Now she has really "seen" it, in some way, for the first time. And all the terrible things of her life, all the heartbreaks... all came out at once. Oh Mer.
2 - The silence is broken b/t Mer & Cristina!!! Yay!!! Thank you Der. Der knows what she needs and he brought her to Cristina b/c he has finally come to an understanding that he can not be everything for Mer. She needs Cristina. He's finally understanding Mer for who she is.
3- Izzy. Oh, poor Izzie. That is what I've been saying for weeks! I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but all of the pissant fans who have been whining about the "lame Izzy talking to and having sex with the ghost" story-- why couldn't you just sit back and take it in and know that this was coming and that the whole thing wasn't crazy? I'm sure I'm offending someone, which usually it isn't my style to be so blantantly offensive to those of differing opionions, but I am tired enough right now to just let it roll. The people around Izzie love her. George. Mer. Alex. Bailey. Yet, NONE of them can spend just 2 minutes focusing on her and seeing that something's wrong! It's in Alex's face, (and I agree with the fans who say he is scared b/c of Ava/Rebecca's issues and he sort of rationalized it as, well, she's not going totally nuts and peeing her pants-- I buy all that, I do), but Alex gets scared and totally whales on her tonight-- yelling at her like she's a misbehaving child. Wake up, Alex!!! Scared or not, figure out how to help the woman you love!!!!!
4 - Miranda-- oh, Miranda. Oh, thank God Shepard made her make the right choice. He did that just for Miranda. She might be devastated now about having "crossed the line", but she can hold tight to the fact that, in the end she made the "right" call. And after watching I'm no longer on the fence. Even if the boy died (which would have been tragic), that WAS the right call in my mind. (although, yes, I can totally understand where Mer came from on her side).
5- Miranda again--- and the Chief-- maybe there will be a little more understanding about how Izzie totally went off the deep end w/ the LVAD wire. Will this be addressed in the future?
So many other good moments. But for now, I will leave off with my final of what I feel were the most "significant"points--
6- WHY WAS GEORGE NOT WITH IZZIE AT ALL?????????????????????

This was a great episode!! The whole thing with Meredith was heartbreaking!! I'm glad Der went to Christina and did what he did. He's so Dreamy...sigh!
TVguide.com lists next week's episode as "Rise Up" which is a rerun....Two weeks for the proposal...This is torture!

I thought that the serial killer story was one of the best we've had in years, I felt so torn and totally understood Meredith and didn't like Derek much. Which was okay, kind of.
Eric Stoltz was great.
Bailey remains my favorite character though, her conflict I thought was even better than Mers at the end.

wowwww. this season just keeps getting better and better.
owen trying to "make it up" to cristina was great. i hope she lets him soon. i'm glad izzie finally realizes whats going on and can get it fixed. i didnt really mind denny being back, but it was getting drawn out.
derek was perfect. absolutely perfect. he did everything right, the way it had to be done. making bailey make the right choice, getting cristina and mer to make up, being there for her.. everything.
bailey was awesome too. and i'm so glad the boy lived in the end.
2 weeks is awful though. especially when the proposal will be so soon (hopefully!). i'm kinda mad about the private practice stuff being mixed in though. i hope its just addison..
