I loved that episode. I just sat there frozen at the very end. Anyways, here are my thoughts/opinions:
1. I never expected William's organs to go with him to the grave. I honestly thought at the last minute that he would speak up to Derek himself to donate the organs to Jackson. It would have been some sort of redemption for him I guess. Boy was I surprised. Part of me wished that Derek would listen to his mom and get over his father's death, but then I suppose by saving the guy's life, he was ethically and morally right. And he really put Bailey on the spot in there.
2. Speaking of morals and ethics, Bailey and the Chief crossed a few lines themselves. Anyone else notice that Bailey has gotten really emotionally involved in a lot of recent cases? I mean in the first 3 seasons I think I distinctly remember the case with Jeremiah, the patitent with cystic fibrosis in season 2. Then in season 4, we get two cases, one involving little Tuck (which I can understand to a point) and then the Nazi. But yeah. I honestly thought she would have known better than to play executioner. Then you have Richard. He pretty much forced that poor woman to give up the organs. Ummm...was he not the one that told George not to force or coerce? I really hope they keep this story going. I mean Greys hasn't really had an ethicial dilemma like this since Izzie in season 2. This time, the Chief himself is stealing organs.
3. I like how the romance with Cristina and Owen is going. SLOW!! It's nice to have a storyline without sex involved. On a side note: Did they ever mention why exactly Cristina hates criminals? I mean I think that she was honoring her oath, but I wonder if there's any background I missed.

Meredith was raised with nothing. No father, no family, no love. And she is the most loyal and honest and truly compassioned person. That “I don’t understand myself” was heartbroken. I do love her. And Derek was great, as doctor, teaching Meredith and Bailey when they need to be guided. And as boyfriend waiting her outside the prison and calling Cristina to her. I love him too, off course! Can’t wait for the proposal!

I watched the last scene about 50 times, and I come to think she said "You wouldn't have made me go." It kind of makes sense because Meredith understands that Christina's always been like her safety belt.

i totally didn't get the whole izzy thing at the end....is she really sick and going to DIE?? what is going on?

emily GA-- I think she is really sick. I think that's what that meant. At this point she has no idea what she is sick with. I am only hoping, truly hoping that she is not going to die. That she choose life enough to undo what's been done. That she is diagnosed in time and the medical science can do miracles. I think it would be devastating for the show if Izzy were to die, if KH were to leave. Just as I think it would be devastating to the show if George were gone (has been all but gone lately) and TR would leave. So, now we know she's sick. But SHE knows she's sick too. Which means she can try to do something about it. But somewhere I read in a spoiler that she is not diagnosed until March--- that is a very long time away. I don't get why it would be that long. Maybe she's going to find it hard to get anyone to help her at first. That I could believe. I really, really hope that George is there to help her.

Right,IZ is sick,and it seems that next a few episodes are gonna be IZ-centured.u know,about her tumor(maybe,)and all the other guys' reaction.I still can't figure out wat IZ means to Mer n Chris.And to Geo.And to Alex.
well,it sounds annoying,right?I'm kinda tired of IZ's story line,though this epi is really amazing.
woooo.so meredith...I couldn't stop crying when seeing that Mer couldn't stop crying,and I cried harder when seeing that Derek was waiting outside the prison,even though he hates the SK,even though he is all that black n white thing,he forgave Meredith,'cause he loves her,and GOD,he loves her in a deep n profound way!and I cried even harder when seeing Chris crawling into the car.
Everyone needs a lover or a friend who really understands u.Meredith is so lucky to have them both.

I need to add a comment. Did anyone else notice that in the scene where Derek pushes Meredith into the room he was a little... aggressive with the happiness? And what was with the awkward laughing???

I think he was just sooo happy because his mother said that Meredith is perfect for him. And when you happy you don't know what you're doing and you can be little bit aggressive :) You mean Meredith laughing? I think she was just nervous if Derek finds out about dying William.

it was a nice scene. I think that Derek is just "drunk" on love. His mom confirmed his feelings about Meredith by telling him that she approved of her and she is the one for him. And Meredith was at the hospital all night, so Derek probably hadn't seen her for awhile...That ring is also probably burning a hole in his pocket.
Remember the exam room sex at the end of Season 2 when Derek pulled Meredith's hair to kiss her neck?!?!?! Derek's aggressive side is starting to come out more and I couldn't be happier ;)
