I loved the merder scene at the end i thought they might hug or kiss but derek say that he loves meredith was proberlary even better
I also liked how meredith had the interns to control

I thought the intern storyline was funny. kinda random though cause i didnt know any of their names before that.

i agree. It showed that this years interns are the same as Meridith, Cristina, George, Alex and Izzie. They also have affaires and they also have problems, like them. It's more "realistic".
I also like the last MerDer scene. It was intens, and you can see that Mer loves Der, no matter how screwed up he is. She is there to support him, no matter what.

Yeah I agree the interns were funny, it was good that george and mer got to see exactly what Bailey put up with when they were all interns

ok, I'm back
had to watch it again and this time I was making notes because there's just so much to discuss...
so...
-to begin with, the patient David make-up scared me shitless!, it was absolutely amazing
-Christina really shined this time, I love the way she handles Izzie situation and I love the scene when she told Alex and Bailey about it (poor, poor Alex, he was in a big shock)
-and, no matter how much easier (as Christina explains) it makes for the interns and doctors making up nicknames for patients, they are DICKS! it's just really bad behaviour, how should the patients feel when they crack up in front of them especially if they are in a very serious condition, just BAD BEHAVIOUR
- Meredith was so cool about handling the Interns situation, the interns look so childish and immature even though our guys were pretty much the same at the beginning
-she made her McDreamy concerns into something very productive; I love it, when she got pissed at the interns, she was right, they are irresponsible
- by the way, the guy playing intern Steve always makes me think of Snow Patrol lead singer...guess he kindy looks like him
- Bailey was really funny about herimaginary scenarios when Torres and Hunt went missing
-It is beautiful how the patients' stories click with our guy's stories, this time especially: How David turned away from his friends who wanted to help him made Izzie realize what she was doing
-I loved it when Cristina held her hand after Izzie thanked her for pushing her (and telling others about her condition)
-Izzie was silly to expect Christina not to tell anyone, even forget she told her anything, i love Christina for it
-and it was heartbreaking, when Bailey told George about Izzie and he started running, hope to see much more George and Izzie friendship, I miss that
- I liked it when Torres and Hunt shared their stories with Derek and then get drunk together
-by the way, don't you just love the messed up McDreamy?, the beard and the messy hair,... or is it just me? I think he looks incredibly sexy
-can't wait to hear Owen's big Iraq story, especialy when he said he "doesn't talk about Iraq"
-it was so beautiful when they were putting Izzie to bed all together and it made my heart beat faster when cutie George entered the room smiling
-I didn't like Alex's look at the end, he's probably angry with Izzie because she hadn't told him
- David's orchid was an absolutely beautiful metaphore
-I got so pissed at the childish behaviour of the interns about Mark and Lexie, but the kiss was SO HOZ and COOL
-the Chief was incredible (was it just me or did he look kind of hot), before, I really never realized he was such a caracter, but he had some great comments when he talked to Derek (poor guy, and that puppy look he somethimes makes, how adorable)
- The music in the scene when David looks at his new face SO TOTALLY reminded me of Lost in translation music
I thin this is about it, looking forward to another great episode!

Wow, Anja-- I love your post! You just recapped the great stuff!!! And there was a lot of great stuff this epi!!! I too loved the way Torres and Hunt went out to see Der and ended up telling their stories, getting all introspective and getting drunk with him. The 3 of them sitting out there at Der's trailer tipping the beers backa and sharing was great!
