     Hi Rose, How is your son doing??? I didn't know there was a fan from Dublin. What is the homepage??? is it abc.com??? something has come up and i have to go away thursday until saturday and i wont have any access to the internet. i will be dying of curiosity to find out what happened in the finale. i am hopeful for mer/der. fingers crossed.

     Irish--her name is Debs. She posts under the sections that discuss the episode (click on comments--very small letters at bottom of each section) my son is doing better and better every day, he returned to classes part-time at law school today. thanks for asking!

     hmmmm dunno if she'll let him in Trisha - Derek says he doesn't know if he can breathe for her, her fake mummy dies, so she doesn't let Derek breathe for her, THEN he says he met another woman...what a wanker! ('cuse my French, hehe). Seriously, I think Derek is acting like a jerk! Maybe it's just an excuse for him to choose chief over Meredith. Then again, clearly during the whole Mer drowning thing it showed that he loves her a lot. So it seems they're both so afraid of being hurt - it's like even Derek's shutting down.

     I would have to agree with your last statement. If you listen to the podcast Shonda says that Derek's worst fear is that Meredith will leave him. He's doing the self-protect thing as is Meredith because as Shonda says, Meredith doesn't like people to see her vulnerable side. It's getting all too unbearable for me......waiting for Thursday.

     we can all share in the pain of the wait with you trisha! maybe, just maybe, this is the time that meredith steps up and takes control of the situation. i'm holding out hope for that. maybe when she sees he is wavering in his devotion, it will light a fire under her butt to make him remember how much they belong together. seeing her be the voice of reason for cristina is a good sign i think.
