I'm not so sure if Burke, Mark, the Chief (if he's there), Alex and George would actually stop Derek from picking up another girl...that's assuming they even notice. Up until now, I've found that they generally seem to stay out of each other's relationships.

ok, tonight is the night...hope the day goes by fast so we can find out what's going on at SGH....and at least we get a full hour of Grey's tonight!

Hi Trisha i totally agree with you on the point that probably none of the guys would stop Derek. But i don't think that Derek would pick another girl while the guys are next to him. That's why i hope so badly that the guys are at Joe's. I really wished i could watch this episode tonight but i have to wait until tomorrow to find out what happend. I really love to read your posts and the recaps.

i'm beginning to think that we all give shonda too much credit -- that she wouldn't think of messing with us (der/mer) yet again. after watching the preview clip a few times, i notice that derek says "hi" to barskank girl in a breathy kind of voice and she then offers to buy him a drink all sweetly. ughhhhhhh it's really ticking me off! i need to stop stressing over this dang show! isn't tv supposed to be entertaining? this is torturous, at the very least.

Hi German, do you download the episode the next day and watch it? Yeah, I'm still hoping that maybe bar girl is Meredith's sister....apparently the actress (Chyler Leigh) has signed on for a multi-episode arch in Season 4 so she's going to be around for a bit. Damn...poor Meredith and Derek can't get a break.

Hey luvthisshow, I'd have to agree with you....I am beginning to think that Shonda doesn't care about what we think...she already has the storyline for the entire run of the show (7 seasons) planned out.... I noticed he gave McSkanky girl that Derek smile....I hope I'm pleasantly surprised tonight but I don't put it past Shonda to torture us....I think I'm getting an ulcer....

Hi Trisha yes i download it, but i can't download it the next morning because i have to work from 7 am to 5 pm . That's why i read first the recap and your posts. That sucks, because it would be better to discuss with all of you during and after the episode. Describe everything as detailed as possible in your posts. Please...

I am not sure what happens. It would be interesting if it is Mer's sister. That would make sense that she would be on the show next season. Or is she Derek's Finn, and she is on to keep them apart for the first part of the season. Maybe Shonda feels that Derek and Meredith cannot be together until the last part of the next season because people would lose interest. Also, there are 3 or 4 more seasons, so it could make sense to have them in limbo for a while longer. What we know though is that they are going to be together in the end, they have to be.
