ok wow.. so i was stuk in chicago the past 3 days and only got to see the epi today.. so alls i have to say is it started of amazingly funny.. but the mer der is really bothering me like y would he do that to her.. he needs to like arghh... im so upset i just want freakin happy merder is that so much to ask.. lloll ooo i forgot HI YA ROSE.. Ok so forgive me if I play devil's advocate for a second: Recall in Season 3 episode 4 when Derek decides to walk away because he knows Finn is the better guy and he tells Meredith she "deserves to be with somebody who won't her" and that Finn is the better guy. Well is that not him saying "I can't guarantee I won't hurt you again", and he realizes this when Addison tells him not to hurt Meredith "again". Just a thought. Nobody wants Meredith and Derek to be ok more than I do....if Shonda splits them up again I'm going to go postal. Now I'm not surprised Addison goes to LA because she wants to have a baby..that was building in "Desire" with all the talk of guys who teach their kids to play ball or something, but honestly I didn't see that coming.Posted 4/28/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I think what is interesting about that Trisha, is that Derek does not know that Finn is also damaged and scary. Even if she had stayed with him, they would have had their own set of issues. It is the hard thing about relationships, they all come with their own set of problems, unique to each pairing. What Derek and Meredith need is more communication, openness and continued commitment. I think that they are working towards both, it will take time. And in the end there is never an end to problems, just a temporary relief from them. PS. Good point McDreamy02. I think we all realize that no matter how much we love someone we can still hurt them, and indeed we do often hurt each other without it meaning that the relationship has to end. I guess that's why they call relationships a lot of hard work. It's inevitable that at some point we sometimes have to say things that our significant other may not want to hear and vice versa...it's how we deal with those things that allows us to grow.Posted 4/29/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I have to agree trisha and mcdreamy02 we hurt the ones we love. we don't want to do it, but it happens. You let down the walls, let people in and when you do, it takes trust that if and when you do hurt them, they don't just walk away. I don't think Mer wanted to hurt Derrick. she even said to Denny that she wanted to go back for him and Cristina. but she's new at the relationship thing, but you are right he never promised he wouldn't hurt her again.. but I have high hopes for both of them, to communicate, talk.
