    Apart from talking about what happened to each of them because she didn't swim Meredith needs to convince Derek that she is now a swimmer. So that may require a few more episodes and some sort of situation where she can proove it to him. I doubt that the writers would turn these two characters inside out AGAIN.

    I agree AUSFAN, we may even have to wait for next season, but I do not think that they are going to turn them inside out again. They both seem to be on the path to being more complete people. It might have some set-backs, bot not the same as before. I think that from here on, they are going to be growing, slowly, towards each other.

    I sometimes wonder about the way Ellis would often fiddle with her watch on her left wrist.It was a kind of habbit and Meredith would twist her fingers aroud her wrist when she seemed agitated or anxious. Have we commented on this before?? I'm not sure if Meredith still does it. Also didn't Derek only notice Seatle had ferry boats when he met Meredith but he had already been living there for 6 weeks. Sort of setting up the ferry boat- Meredith metaphour. Maybe. Anyway I like the thought.
