I loved it, it was so well played.

Although I heard they were trying to find someone to play Ellis who looked like meredith I heard, but I honestly think the ellis looked more like Lexie haha.

the little Meredith too cute!! I loved when Alex lied and then the truth came out but Callie let him do it still...

Arizona is so jealous that was soo cute

LOL it was cute when Arizona got jealous (; Anyways, I think that the episode was actually really interesting! I was disappointed with the casting for young Ellis and Richard because they really weren't alike at all. Ellis is supposed to be hardcore and tough and ice cold! Hehe, the girl that played her looked too nice. Anywho, Bailey, or should I say Mandy (; was AWESOMEEE! Ahhh I loved her so much this episode. She totally owned her resident. Hmmm, the AIDS case was sad :( but overall i liked the episode!

I am so disappointed in Grey's Anatomy right now. Have you run out of ideas or what??Tonight's show wasn't even worth watching. What is wrong with Meredith? Derek needs to go back to being a world-class neurosurgeon and Richard needs to come back as Chief of Surgery. Sorry, I guess I don't like changes.

I thought the episode was awesome

Loved the Dr. Bailey and Ben stuff, Bailey as an intern was pretty badass, she is so not a minnow

Callie was way too cute with her stage fright and Arizona was awesome trying to help as much as she could

Callie and Alex thing, umm yuck but whatever, Arizona being jealous was cute though

Chief's flashback was interesting, and sad there were so many things wrong with that era of time...

I kinda didnt like that Derek was making them lecture( especially poor callie who it literally made sick) and yet he didnt give a lecture... hmm, i guess he was being chiefly

Overally liked the episode, and kid meredith was so adorable

I was not a fan of last week's episode. It seems like they're trying to force out ideas now, at least that's what I think. Why are they not on this week?

I used to be really into Grey's, up until MerDer got married. A few episodes after that, and it just seemed to die out.

Just loved this first flashback episode, young Mandy Bailey, Callie and Richard and Ellis well done all around.

I read that Shonda Rhimes plains to do more flashback episodes, I can't wait more Bailey, Richard & Ellis, Shonda Rhimes also mentioned maybe doing a flashback to when Derek, Addison, Noami, Sam and Mark Sloan were all in Med School. That would make an interesting episode considering that Derek and Addison got married as did Sam and Noami and Mark was Derek's best man, was Addison and Derek in Sam and Noami's wedding party, nothing has been mentioned only that Derek and Addison were best friends with Sam and Noami. Let's see Mark Sloan develop into McSteamy, was he a sex machine back at Med School?

Honestly, this episode was probably one of my all-time least favorites. Yeah, I felt it was creative and all but it was a little boring. I think it should have just been about the chief's flashback since he was the one who was thinking about leaving the hospital for good until Derek asked him to do a lecture. Then when he finished, it should have gone back to the storylines, real-time..
