I don't know about anybody else but I'm a bit peturbered with Grey's and trust me I am your number one fan. Myself as well as my friends are ready to send out a nation wide boycot if next season is like this season with only getting to see a new or really good show once in a while and the rest couple of weeks would be reruns! Come on what gives? This is not like the Grey's I remember. It's like every week we were so excited to see the new episode. This season however we'd get psyced up to watch it and then it'd be a rerun. This has caused alot of loss of interest among me and my freinds and others I'm sure around the world. Everywhere I go people are discussted with this kind of schedule. Shape up Grey's Anatomy or I'm afraid alot of viewers will be shipping out of Seattle Grace!

About the hiatus every two weeks you're right it's more than annoying.
On the other hand if there were more episodes this season there would be less reruns but for that to happen it couldn't have been a musical episode.
I was shocked when i read tons of comments on-line from people saying they wouldn't even give it a chance. When i found out about it i was more than happy and my friends who also watch grey's were like that too.
It's funny the way there were a lot of grey's fans saying they hated musicals or complaning that they were trying to copy glee. For me they could have been dancing down the halls like in the scrubs musical and i would watch it anyway.
I don't see musicals as the whole intense episode situation i was just curious to see the cast singing and watch who could sing or not.
I guess it's more of a Potuguese thing when it comes to watch shows trying new things without complaning much. This is a bit of an out of context thing but this year we sended those clowns to eurovisison for a reason. After losing the contest 44 times with the best classification being 6th and last years' song who was terrific ended up on 18th we can send wherever we want and we'll never win. So this year the clowns go there the people there have a good laugh and maybe we get last (we already got last 3 times what's a fourth?) or maybe some people will feel bad about us and we'll get pitty votes i don't know. But we're taking that risk like abc did with the musical you can never please greek's and troyans at the same time, so there's always a group of people who will hate wherever they do anyway so as mind a well do it.
But about the hiatus they suck. We have to go through weeks without nothing to look forward to. And this goes to all shows not just grey's.

serioulsy all i wanna know is why EVERYONE on this show who either dosent want a baby or dosent deserve a baby gets pregnant but when merdith and derek want a baby that just cant happen and they have to adopt..im not against adoption i just really would have loved to see meredith and derek have their own baby. and this whole season was not that good of a season and if next season is gonna be the last season then every episode better be awesome.

I totally agree with val!!! I am so tired of these crappy storylines with babies and stupid pregnancies to people, who are supposedly doctors but are more immature than a 15 year-old and just don´t use condoms and they even seem shocked when they notice the pregnancy. I hate so much baby Sofia, she is really cute and Mark with her is really sweet but c´mon why give everything to Callie??? And merder was so poorly developped this season, when they appeared was almost only about that baby storyline, I love them so much and i wanted mer to get pregnant, but no who gets pregnant is Cristina. And seriously Alex is an ass and so is Derek with all that talk "I don´t want to raise a baby with someone who doesn´t understand the difference between right and wrong" what a bastard, I wouldn´t foorgive him if I was Mer, it´s not like the first time he does it, remember when he called her a lemon!! And Mer should show more of ability as a surgeon, I feel like that is just not important anymore, we don´t even know what is her specialty. I officially hate Alex after all Mer did to him, he betrays her like that. Oh!!! and Mer will get fired due to a small thing compared to the Lvad-wire Izzie cut, and all the doctors at SGMW are so professionals, look closely to the behaviour of Karev with that old woman, is that right??? well lexie and owen shoud also tell the chief so that he could get fired too!!! Finally I am totally against the current number of actors doing the show, it is way to big and as a result of this the storylines are weird and so not compelling. I wished I could stop watching it but unfortunately I love mer so much so I just keep watching every episode but I find her character so badly developped, like for instance the shooter thing was like it didn´t affected her at all, but Cristina yes, she went all crazy and so different from who she actually is!!! I am hoping for a change and if Ellen Pompeo leaves next season I hope it´s the end of the show too, because it would be unbearable without her.

I'm with val and Pomb63 Iit's not fair how everyone who we don't want to get pregnant do it and the ones we actually want to get pregnant never do!
But since it's Cristina if she decides to keep it it will be hilarious when she trying to calm down a crying baby when Owen's at the hospital without any sucess. That would be fun...

Sometimes we want what we cant have. To that and what all you've been commenting, all I have to say is in real life we can't choose what we get. Sometimes not being able to have a baby is what God gives us. I know this is a just a television drama show, but I am sure no one can relate to the characters as much as I can. As a med-student, resident, intern, doctor, a sister, a friend, a daughter, a woman- we basically get to live bits of this made up drama, sometimes from our own experiences and sometimes from people close to us. You can either relate or not relate, its that simple. But relating is ultimately what makes us identify ourselves with a character and what makes us come back for more. Hey, that's how you were hooked. You need Grey to marry her Doctor, cause you wanted her to be happy after all that struggle. Fine. Its done. But now what? The love struggle is over, they need more topics to address. Storylines are made and then they decide on what to give emphasis on. Callie and Arizona are a social critic to the times we live in, if you havent picked that up gay marriage is still very much controversial, and it was addressed very good taste. Meredith and Derek's inability to have children is focused on the struggle women have with infertility, it is too a very common problem in our society, perhaps not a very well developed story line but in ends they still were able to find a solution to it. And i know... We want them to be in a happily ever after marriage, so bad because we want to believe its possible as hopeless romantics, truth is - there are curve balls thrown left and right to the main characters because if not there wouldnt be a story line otherewise and there wouldnt be a Greys Anatomy. Once they run out of ideas its over- finito, Greys Anatomy is not about married life, get over it. And no, Karev is not getting back with Izzie. So cut him some slack. The actor who plays Lucy already has a contract with another show supposedly, so maybe that's that for Karev too. This show was never rays of sunshine, its always taken Meredith and Derek and the rest of the crew through the bumpy road, its been about the hardships many medical residents and doctors alike face along their careers. Its been a drama television show, dark and twisted alike the main character Meredith Grey. Thats how it is. If you expect rays of sunshine I'd say you've been watching the wrong program for the past 7 seasons and I'd suggest rather tuning in on wednesday to Modern Family or Happy Endings to laugh instead of jerking a tear here and there. Unfortunately many viewers don't get this.
