     They didn't get married...that's what happened. But it's okay, Alex and Izzie deserve it.

     I'm hoping next week will be when the wedding between merder take place...and izzie doesn't die.

     greysanatomyismylife, small consolation I know, but they didn't want the big wedding, they're not that couple, so Shonda was never going to let Mer have a wedding like that cos it's just not her.  They'll find a way to do it in MerDer style and it will be even better!  They're still in love and happy so that's a good thing right?!

     haha im gunna watch that scene again tomorrow. i thought it was a suite it was all decorated. that makes that scene so much cuter! i loved the merder in this episode even though they didnt get married.

     broomy - it was actually bailey's idea for Derek and Meredith to give Alex and Izzie the wedding.  Derek then talked to Meredith about it.

     i couldnt see meredith and derek having that type of wedding. i bet theyll do something special with them like they always do. like getting married in an OR or elevator or dereks land where the candlehouse was, i dont know. hopefully somewhere adorable but ill cry when they get married cause it will be the happiest moment of my life haha
