Engagement Speech

   What do you think the Engagement Scene will be like? Here's what i think:

   Derek got down on one knee

   “Derek…”

   “Meredith Grey,” he cut her off, “I love you. I want to have kids with you. I want to build us a house. I want to settle down and grow old with you. I want to die when I’m one-hundred-ten years old in your arms. I want a lifetime.” He paused momentarily to see her response. She stayed silent. Her face looked scared but anticipating, “I know you’re scared and I know you don’t think you can trust me, but I’ll always be here Meredith. I wont hurt or lie to you again. I know I’ve hurt you a lot in the past but, Meredith, I love you, in a really really big, pretend to like your taste in music, let you eat the last piece of cheesecake, hold a radio over my head outside your window, unfortunate way that makes me hate you love you. So, pick me, choose me, love me, marry me.” He stayed on one knee waiting for her answer. She was just staring into his deep beautiful eyes. He gave her his best McDreamy smile.

   “Derek, I… I…” she took a deep breath in “yes. You’re right. I am scared, and I don’t know if I can trust you, but I’m gonna try because I love you and want to be with you forever.”

   At that point he stood up and pulled Meredith in for a long passionate kiss.
