This is my first ever attempt at fan fiction.. I wrote it a few weeks back...I intended on writing more but, I got busy...
Camera pans to Izzie Stevens face as she lies in her hospital bed looking frail and sick from her chemo:
Izzie: Meredith!
Pans to hallway where we see Meredith Grey trying to sneak by Izzie’s room using a gurney to hide herself
Meredith: Oh, Izzie, um, hi!
Full screen shot showing Meredith walking in and standing by Izzie’s bed
Izzie: The other dresses are here. You should call Cristina and Lexie up here.
Meredith: Seriously?! You want me to try on more dresses?!! Izzie, I hate big poofy white dresses. Just pick one, I’ll wear it.
Izzie (smiles): But these are the bridesmaids dresses. (points across the room to a whole rack full of flouncy taffeta dresses in varying awful pastel shades)
Meredith smiles.
Commercial break
We return to fin Izzie in bed and Meredith in a chair next to Izzie’s bed, both grinning, as Cristina and Lexie both come running in, nearly breathless.
Cristina: You paged me 911! What’s the emergency.
Meredith points at the dresses as Izzie giggles in the back
Lexie: Oh taffeta! I love taffeta! My prom dress had taffeta. Did you know I was Prom Queen?
Cristina: I think I am going to be queen of vomiting if you try to tell me I have to wear one of those things!
Izzie (coughing): Oh I don’t feel so great. Cancer makes me so sad and the chemo is so hard. It would really take my mind off things if you would try on a few dresses.
Cristina: I hate that you use the Cancer card to manipulate us! It is brilliant, but I hate it!
(Izzie pretends to cry a bit)
Lexie comes out of the bathroom twirling in a pale peach frilly dress
Lexie : I love it!
Cristina: I am not…
Meredith: Yes you are. Izzie is our friend and she is sick. We are doing this for her.
Izzie smiles.
Cristina: Fine, give me the freaking dress, but lock the door, I don’t want anyone else to see this

That was a cute little piece. I love the way you wrote all the characters. Izzie playing the cancer card cracks me up!
my pen name at fanfiction.net is merderfanseriously and the story that I'm currently working on is called "Glorious Day" about Meredith and Derek as parents. Check it out sometime if you get a chance :)

How do you find a specific person on fanfiction.net? I have never been there before and was ahving a hard time navigating it (although in my defense, I had a 3 year old trying to help me, so that may have been my problem! LOL)

You go to the website, click on tv shows, then Grey's Anatomy and it should bring up all the stories. At the top of the page, you can filter through them by characters. I am writing a MerDer fic, so the characters are Derek and Meredith.

Oh yeah... I forget if I mentioned that I only write MerDer AND I'm working on 3 stories right now... lots goin on...
If you want to find a person you can click "search" on the top and instead of story make it author and then type in whoever.
