Confusion

   Okay here's my question, in Seasons 4 and 5 we know Bailey is a 5th year resident and the rest of our faves are 2nd yr residents. That would mean that BAiley had interns when she was a 4th yr resident while meredith and the other ppl have them as 2nd yrs. Im confused

   maybe every 2years new interns are assign to the residents..

   yeah, derek's probably even more than 8 years older because she's a 2nd year resident and he's a "world-class attending" which means he must've spent years trying to get that status...

   but despite the age gap, they're an awesome couple!!!

   and i forgot to say, residents probably get interns from their 2nd year onwards and stop when they're in their 5th year like bailey

   McTwisted Dreams, good points. Addison was totally on point when she said once "Digs the perfect 12 year old" Its kinda weird now that I think about it Derek has to be at least 10 years older because we know he has been an attending for at least 2 years probably more so he could be up to like 14 years older than Meredith which i have to say is kinda creepy!

   New point: they never mention an ortho attending only Callie

   Ur right. But i dont really think weve really dealt with trauma before. I still cant wrap my head around the fact Derek is soo much older its kinda...weird

   maybe we should't talk about the age diffrence or one of them could get fired

    

   but it is kind a a big difference, derek was married to Addison for 10 years or so i believe so he just looks good for his age

    exactly.. i think the age is not an issue anymore.. so i think we're okay on getting them fired
