Does anyone else think that Justin Chambers should be nominated for an Emmy? I think that he's done a phenomonal job this season as Alex Karev, especially during these last couple of episodes and definitely the season finale. Any thoughts? Or who else you think deserves an Emmy nomination?

I agree. And Chandra Wilson, she was amazing in this episode. Also, Ellen Pompeo and Katherine Heigl. They're all so great!

Justin so should get an emmy nomination. They should just give the whole damn cast an emmy, as well as it should 100% get the emmy for best drama series!!!

When are the emmys? I've never watched before but now that I'm obsessed with Grey's I'm definately going to.

I totally agree with Justin being nominated and possibily win an Emmy this years. He did an awsome job!
Emmy nominees are announced on July 16. Emmy Awards ceremony is on September 20.

Totally!! Justin Chambers deserves an emmy, also Chandra Wilson, Katherine Heigl and Ellen Pompeo.... And Patrick Dempsey for his performance in the whole Jen drama (An honestmistake, I will follow you into the dark)..... BEST DRAMA SERIES EMMY!!!! hello????

I think Ellen Pompeo deserves an emmy for her reaction to George being John Doe. Her "oh god" was terrifying, so emotional.
And definately Justin Chambers, he's done a ton of crying these past episodes and it's all believeable.
Katherine Heigl of course because I really believed she had cancer, I was so sucked into it.
And Chandra Wilson, her crying scene was so real. It actually made me cry, not why she was upset but just seeing her cry.
Amazing actors in this show, I can't pick just one person that deserves an emmy.

I think Ellen Pompeo had several Emmy worthy shows this year..the "Oh God" during this last episode, the scene outside of the prison was phenomenal acting (when she went to William's execution) and so many more. her scenes with Alex, her interactions with the chief....
Katherine Heigl was unbelievable great this year. I so believed that Izzie was sick that it made me cry just to look at her sometimes (cancer is a big killer in my family)
Justin Chambers was really great as Alex during his emotional scenes about Izzie being sick, the "this isn't how Izzie and I are supposed to have a baby" scene
Chandra Wilson is always strong and this year is no exception. She is a beautiful and powerful actress.
Patrick Dempsey also for his brewding portrayal of Derek after he lost the patient (and just because he is awesome in general!), and all the scenes with him and Mer growing up together this year.
Really, I could go on just about every cast member, they all really brought their A games, especially the last half of the season. I think as an ensemble, they are AMAZING.
I don't generally watch the Emmy's but maybe I will this time around, especially if we get some good Grey's representation (or at least I will DVR it so I can fast forward to see my faves!)
