I may be totally crazy but I have seen sneek peeks for the two upcoming episodes and I have a really weird feeling that something romantic is going to happen between Derek and Christina. Hope I am wrong!!!!

A lot people had that funny from last episode's roof scene with Derek and Cristin drinking wine and talking about tile and floor.
If anything romatic happens between Derek and Cristina it would be charater assination for both Derek and Cristina. Two it would be the death of the show. Three it would destroy one of the relationships that has been the foundation of this show which Mer/Cris frinedship, and Shonda loves the Mer/Cris friendship to death and not to mention that it would destroy O/C and MerDer. Does Shonda wants to inahilate most of her audience, I don't think so.

It would kill the show if something would happen between Cris/Der. It would ruin the characters and 3 relationships forever.

completely agree the show would be destroyed. and there friendships are too good for it to be destroyed likee that. but i doubt it will happen especially derek wouldnt do hat to meredith for a fact. but i like derek and cristinas friendshipp cause she used to hate talking to him cause hes too chatty aha least shes getting over thatt

Not gonna happen. THere is no way in hell that Shonda would ever do that. If Derek and Cristina were to hook up, the two best relationships on the show would be destroyed beyond repair, Meredith adn Cristina and Meredith and Owen. Shonda is a smart woman....nothing is gonna happen.

They will bond emotionally and that is cheating on Mer and worse than physical betrayal. Patrick said it himself:"Sandra and I are working together in a way we haven't seen before," says Dempsey. "We're very intertwined. The shooting tragedy affected Cristina on a very deep level, so she and I have an experience together that no one else shares." This will happen during the clinical trial they are duing together. I think mer will be all alone this season. No Der , he is to busy beeing with Cristina and vice versa.
I've stopped watching, but follows the your discussion. It saves me the heartache over how Shonda have treated Mer and Der and is less painf
