ha ha, the difference being that I was 13 when that movie came out in 1987. LOL. I'm old! that was 22 years ago!

I Never watched racing just because McDreamy was a driver

I actually never did this. I have been a fan of racing for MANY years. Long before Patrick Dempsey started driving. I do tend to watch the Grand Am series more than I did before he started now though. I used to watch Mostly Formula 1 (which I still love) and didn't ever go to my first Grand Am Rolex Series Race until this year....

Oh yeah I did.. But just once, because they usually don't show the races. But yeah.. I did. I watched the 24h race from LeMans. But I "just" watched 15 hours..because sometimes I needed a break.

I've always had a thing for cute guys with fast cars, so I guess I was a racing fan who is thrilled that PD has crossed over into racing. Best of both worlds for me! Like I said, I didn't focus on Grand Am as much before he was in it, but I have always liked cars (not thrilled with NASCAR though, but I did try to get a peek at Jeff Gordon or Jimmy Johnson when I was in Watkins Glen. Only saw them in their cars driving past, not up close).
