hey guys! i just read from people.com that katie heigl is leaving the show. here's the full article: "Katherine Heigl has dropped out of contract talks with Grey's Anatomy over salary, a well-placed source tells PEOPLE. "Katie is disappointed and hurt that (producer) Touchstone doesn't value her as much as her other costars, especially Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington," the source says. Heigl plays Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevenson on the ABC hit medical drama. A rep for ABC Touchstone TV had no comment." omg! if this is true, i think they are making a huge mistake. izzie is my favorite character in grey's. she's the funniest although they haven't been giving her the laughs she deserves lately. the show would not be the same without her. seriously!

Yeah I read that too...Izzie is not my favorite, but I like Katherine. I think it would be very stupid of her if she leaves...only because of the money. Doesn't she earn enough already?

Oh one more thing...Isaiah Washington? Really? I do think Katherine is more important than him! Well, Izzie is more important than Burke anyway! But I still don't get the salary issue.

Having read up on everything, Katie is not leaving GA - she signed a contract and therefore wouldn't be able to leave. Basically they had offered her a pay raise and somehow her reaction and their offer both got blown out of proportion (are we suprised?). We'll not be losing our Izzie anytime soon.

i'm beginning to think this piece of news that may not have been true. people.com had put this item out yesterday and then retracted it the very next day. i mean, seriously! couldn’t they have confirmed the rumor first before putting it on their website? this is not the first time reporters have passed a rumor off as true and i’m sure it won’t be the last. i have really learned a lesson from this one.
