Patrick's new movie???

   I found this on Patrick's wikipedia page and I wonder if it's true:

   "Patrick Dempsey is scheduled to begin filming the upcoming movie "Blood, Sweat and Tears" in Chicago in September of 2009. Dempsey will play a powerful record company executive in this music-filled action-comedy produced by David Johnson."

   I'm surprised because I haven't heard about it before. I tried to google it, but I didn't found anything. I know that wikipedia is not really accurate all the time, but I wonder if anyone knows anything about this?

   Unless they are going to be on a filming break from Grey's while Ellen Pompeo has her baby, that wouldn't work either.  Plus he has the Dempsey Challenge OCtober 4th, so it doesn't make sense to me.  Unless maybe it is a small movie, like maybe a Lifetime movie or something that they are going to film quickly while there is a Grey's break.  I don't know.

   yeah, I thought that too. He can't be filming new movie in September, because he'll have a lot of work to do with new season of Grey's, right?

   Maybe its a very small guest roll. And maybe the writers have them going on a honeymoon so that would explain them being away for a few weeks.  Hey, a girl can hope can't she?

   I hope they film everything around Ellen's pregnancy so that Mer/Der don't need to be away from the show at all.  I was kind of hoping after Ellen has the baby that Mer/Der will take a honeymoon that we get to see!

   I find IMDB to be very accurate and I checked Patrick's and it mentions nothing of that sort of role.

   Believe me, I don't want them to be off the show for one minute but the fact remains that Ellen will need some time off after she has the McBaby so I was just trying to think of a possible explanation that the writers would come up with.

   Well, it's not "Blood,Sweat and Tears", but Patrick IS filming a new movie called "Valentine's Day". The cast of the film is already full of stars, like Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Ashton Kutcher... And I read somewhere that Eric Dane have also joined the cast.

    I am still trying to figure out how he is going to squeeze in all his filming stuff between Grey's and the new movie, but I am sure he will do a great job in both!
