Should Season 8 be the last season?

Ok, suppose that ellen and patrick wanted to renew their contracts. should they? I LOVE the show, don't get me wrong but, in my opinion, its seems to have almost run its course. It has changes since season 1 obviously, characters develop and evolve, BUT this latest season has just seemed so thrown together and formulaic - the pregnancies, the marriages, the cheating? i still enjoyed the season, but not nearly as much as previous ones. I think i would prefer the show to end on a high, rather than continue forever and ever.
What does everyone else think? Should it end season 8? or do you think grey's is still on top of its game?

ellen and patrick probably wont renew there contracts they both said they probably wont resign. even if they did stayy. i would want the show to end season 8 with an amzxing finale that we deserve. we deseerve a good ending after all 8 years. tyhey cant keep going after mer and der leave cas then we wont get a proper ending and we deserve one. this season should be the one we should remeber with everyone in it and everything okay.
like the kind of finale i want is it should be long liek 2 or 3 hours (cause we desereve that) and show us what they will be in the future. to see what happens to all the charactaers. like if mer gets alzhiemiers and der with her and baby zola. and alex if he ever get a soulmate. and cristina if she has the baby. like stuff like that. it should end telling us how there lives will continue and not leaving us hanging to see what happens next. cause we wont see it. they have to put a close to it. and i believe it should be next season. even thoguh i love greys soooooo much and thats my favorite part od the week. i think its better to end it after season8 then later and all the characters dropping out.

Grey's Anatomy is not all about MER-DER, so as to speak. the show has greatly evolved and there are still a lot of things going on that we would want to see in the show and it should not end with Season but rather continue and put dignity and justice to each and every character. I just hope that the make the story and plot more interesting this coming season.
