The Reasons You Love Grey's.

I'm going to apologize beforehand about the grammar and spelling mistakes I'm sure this post will have. It's 7:30 AM on the East Coast, I've been up for 22 hours nonstop, and I just finally took my prescribed sleep medication. So I'm probably going to make a lot of mistakes. XD

This thread is bound to get emotional, because there are people like me who are just...extremely die hard Grey's fans and the show has touched them in a very special way.

I can't even begin to think of my reasons. I think, first of all, is the incredible diologue. Of course, no body in real life would ever make the overdramatic speeches the characters seem to come up with on the top of their head. But it's a TV show. And the diologue is so sweet, and funny, and just amazing.

Secondly, the characters are insanely different, which I absolutely love. Not one character feels like the other. Everyone has their different quirks, personalities, and backstories, and they all mesh together. If you ask a Grey's Anatomy fan what characters they like and hate, you're going to see drastic differences. Everyone relates to a different character. For example, I relate to Meredith, George, and Callie. I think most of us can agree though, that these people don't feel like TV characters; They feel like your friends.

Third, the soundtrack is wonderful, but that goes without saying. Every piece of music fits the scene perfectly.

Lastly, I'm going to say the humor. Although it's not that common, there's some moments in Grey's Anatomy that have me rolling on the floor. Penis fish anyone?

My favourite parts are the narrating beginnings with the music and endings:) and the way everything comes full circle in every episode:)

just brilliant (I just wish I could start watching it all over again fresh not knowing what will happen:))

I love the narration at the beginning and end of the episode, as well as the music. The soundtrack is so intense and just adds more to the show, you know?

I loved George and George and Izzie and the fab 5. I haven't watched since George died, but I do watch the MerDer scenes on YT because it's the one thing I still love.

I've got to say the writing. Shonda, Krista and their team of writers are amazing! They're amazing. Somehow they manage to perfectly balance the humor and the drama! I just love them!

Also, the show would not be the same with out MerDer. I know people think they're overrated and not a great couple. I think they really bring a lot to the show.

I'm generally interested in medical stuff, which is why the show first caught my eye. I liked the humor, the unperfect characters and the drama, that isn't overdone. I find it hard to relate to characters of most shows - they're either to childish, too mature or just too perfect. The Grey's characters are messed up, do stupid stuff, sleep with the wrong people, get cancer and makes mistakes.

I first really started watching Grey's after becoming sick a few months ago. I'm yet to be diagnosed. I'm always so tired, I can barely read, which means I watch a lot of TV and movies. It's really comforting to watch Grey's, and in a way it keeps my mood up.
