I hope so too. It's been hard not seeing him week after week. I know we didn't see him much in season 5, but we got to see him once in a while. Those scenes always made my week. One shot of that cute face, and I was happy. Now, he is forgotten on the show

I agree with you Dinah. Its driving me nuts that a character that was so integral since the beginning has barely gotten any sort of attention in death. I mean, you've got barely there characters getting more attention over nothing!

I agree with you two. Abby in season 2 got more attention than George. And what is the use of George dying a hero if nobody but Izzie even ackowledges it? Mark still saw him as a dorky little dude even though he jumped in front of a bus to save a stranger. I thought, doesn't that deserve at least a little respect from anyone? They act like just everyone would die for a stranger and then donate all his organs to save others.

You wouldn't even know there was someone named George on the show from watching it.
George was such a HUGE part of the show. I miss him.

Not that i watch the show anyway this season, just going by what I'm being told. My friend watches and she told me they never ever mention George at all, except for Izzie. She is a George fan too, and she is seriously thinking of stopping watching it.

I think I read somewhere Meredith mentioned him briefly. I hate that Shonda acts like he never existed. George was the heart of Grey.
Did we find out something new about TR? I have been trying to find some, but nothing. He seems to have vanished.

He hasn't vanished at all. After Parade wrapped up at the Taper in LA, he spent a month in NY where he attended a workshop for musicals and vocal training. Stanley Tucci said that TR couldn't do Lend Me A Tenor, which seems to indicate he has another commitment. No official word on that yet. He's back in LA at the moment though... here's some recent pics of he and Ellen Pompeo, seems he went to visit her and little baby Stella.
