Whats wrong with ABC

Has nothing to do with ABC....Shond Rhimes only made a certain amound of episodes for both private practice and grey's anatomy...if she played them all back to back, then we would most likely already be on summer hiatus....and then we would have a longer the normal break....
I believe Shonda made 22 episodes of Private Practice and Grey's. ABC is not the only network that has done it...the CW has with 90210 and Gossip Girl, Fox has with Glee..it's just the way they spread the episodes out to make the season last from Sept-May...It sucks but i'll take that rather then a 5 or 6 month summer hiatus...no thanks

Actually ABC has everything to do with it. ABC orders the amount of episode per season. ABC only ordered 22 epeisode this season because of the musical episode cost too much and it took triple the time it takes to make one episode.
ABC only oreder 22 episode for Private Practice because is not as popular as GA.

The notion that Shonda has a lot of power, is wrong. She doesn't control how the episode are schedule or when they aired, ABC does that. She just writes the stories, which this year leave a lot to be desire.

This time around, Shonda DID have something to do with the order of episodes. Since the musical took longer production time with the recording of songs, editing, etc., ABC ordered less episodes to dedicate the time needed to the musical. Worst. Decision. Ever.Posted 4/18/2011 9:49:28 PM #
