My best friend and I call each other Grey and Yang. We are both adult women but she had to chose between 3 guys (which we McNicknamed) and I'm sarcastic. It just fits us!

When I was in trade school, the one time I didn't do homework, was when the teacher assigned homework on Thursday, and I told her blatently why. She understood, and we got to discuss episodes in class several times, even though she claimed she didn't want to get started on the show because it seemed too addicting.
When you're working in a hospital, and you take time out from your lunch break to watch all the doctors in the cafeteria hoping one of them might look like the characters from the show.
When I personally get too much of a thrill of people saying Lexie this and Lexie that, on the show, because that's my nickname in real life. *sighs* mmmmmmm McSteamy. Yes, I'm living vicariously through that character, no, I don't care
Every friend knows, not to call during 8-9 pm every thursday.
During Thanksgiving dinner with grandparents, aunts and uncles- no one watches the big football game or any of the games going on after that. They watch grey's.
Even though the profiles probably haven't been updated since the day they were created, you have fake character friends in your myspace friends.

when you have a friend that met a guy and then you find out his married and his leaving his wife for your friend and you look at your friend and say.. this looks like it came out of Grey's Anatomy!!

You know you're a Grey's fan when:
- You fake an illness just to see if there are any hot doctors at your hospital.
- You jump into action when you see a stranger collapse in the street.
- You know what Ellen Pompeo and Katherine Heigl wore the the Emmys for the last three years!
- You're thinking of becoming a surgeon.
- You can't stop saying "Dude" or "Seriously!"
- You spend a lotof time trying to work out which Grey's character you're really like.
- Your imagination runs wild thinking about the relationships between the staff when your visiting hospitals.
- You lose entire weeknds watching re-runs.
- You question your doctor's diagnosis,
- You start to sob when you hear Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars".

- ... you care more about the drama in grey's than the drama at your school
- ... you think grey's is reality not fantasy
- ... you talk about grey's non stop until the next episode is on
- ... you wear scrubs to bed
- ... you can answer all of the trivia on facebook and in games without hesitation
- ... you believe that you are meredith grey

First time poster right here! lol I go on this website all the time and finally have time to post now! (what can I say, I work in health care...seriously lol)
You know your a Grey's fan when....
--you and your co-workers discuss episodes and get mad when you accidently miss something or vise versa.
--you really want a set of "Grey's Anatomy" scrubs.
--you want to live in Seattle.
--you name your kids after characters on the show.
--you yell at the tv when something on the show isn't going your way.
--you give your boyfriend a "Mc" name. (my boyfriend is "McBeast" lol)

Okay I've posted this list already, but, it's the ultimate list.
I wanted to tell you people a story that happened like 2 days ago about how obsessed I am: I was absent from school for a day and the next day we were gonna watch "Iron Jawed Angels" (Has Patrick Dempsey and Brook Smith in it). My teacher said in front of the whole class "Heather (me) better be here tomorrow, McDreamy's in the movie!" I was laughing so hard when my friend told me. Today I went back and I had missed some of the movie so my teacher says "You missed a lot of McDreamy". My friends laughed at me, I slapped them.
Here's the list:

...you tend to use Grey's to escape you own pathetic life.
...you wish someone would look at you like McDreamy looks at Meredith.
...you get over excited when you hear "Cosy in the Rocket" , “Keep Breathing” , “Chasing Cars” or “The Quest” and you have them on your Ipod
