Impossible song request...

   Ok...so the other day I heard a song come on when shufflign through my Ipod.  Open your eyes by hoobastank.  Here's the clip...the kicker is only the first three seconds are relevant.

   Those first few cords remind me of a song, very Laswell'esque (not him I went through everything he has released), and I cannot for the life of me figure it out.

   Lyrics are something along the lines of "find yourself a new condition/conviction"...maybe.  It's a haunting male voice that just kind of digs into your soul. 

   I'm here hoping that the internets can reach in and end my troubled searching.  I've been going through my grey's music and have yet to find it.  HELP :)

   Give it ago and let me know, as soon as i heard the first three beats I went for this, so it was familiar for me too.
