    I love Alex and Izzie together. She comes from the trailer park, he comes from a questionable bad youth back in Iowa. Both have over come the odds to get through medical school. I think they have a lot in common. Plus, they have great chemistry. I don't know how they are going to reinstate Izzie into the intern program after what she did, but the series would not be the same without her. She brings out all of the best in Alex.

    I almost forgotten about this thread to discuss about my all time fav couple. What so dissappointing about episode 1 was there\'s no interaction betw them. What we had was just a flashback and even that he being an ass to her but they still looked cute together. From that scene it show how much Alex had changed ever since she came into his life. I\'m glad from the glimpse of that flashback Alex left with Olivia and she ended up getting the syphilis. Imagine if he\'s not being an ass to Iz and they left together!! One thing bother me, from S2 finale when Alex came to the room to talk and later carried Iz away, and the song play\' If I lay here, If I just lay here , would you have lay with me and forget world\' then in episode 1, alex weren\'t there lying with her on the floor where else all her other friend did, just lay with her and forget the world at least that few minutes with her. I so wanted Alex to be with her in there.

    I agree goofyned. He was there outside the door when everyone was talking about how Izzie had stayed on the floor all night and someone had to go in. Then Alex wasn't one of the ones that went in. I wanted him to, too. Maybe he is just giving her time to mourn and then he'll be there for her again. I hope so.
