   I like these two, they are my fave shipper couple from the show - anybody else like them? They have had some good scenes together, remember the locker episode, where she pushed against the locker and gave him her piece of mind (1st season) I think they can both be themselves around each other and don't need to worry that they'll be judged. Alex actually tells her stuff like when he failed his board, when he was sad about killing that guy and he also told Meredith that Izzy dumped him for a heart patient. He also told her about his fear that he will fail his board and she choose to help instead of doing a surgery. And when he slept with Olivia, Meredith was the only one who talked to him. And Meredith can tell him stuff and he doesn't judge her. He jokes about it, also he totally gets her and understands her. Also they both not very good at the relationship thing, maybe they both can learn together Hint at Alex/Meredith in S4 (i so hope so) Alex and Ava. My heart beats for them. How amazing was Ava in those scenes? And Alex…I’ve said before that Alex is Meredith’s mirror and I’m saying it again. He’s too screwed up to give Ava a reason to stay because he doesn’t think he’s good enough. And it’s no coincidence that this scene comes right before the MerDer scene where Derek is asking her, all pained and raw, to put him out of his misery and Meredith is WAY too screwed up to give him an answer.    I loved the scene when Alex was sitting with Mer in the waiting room after she failed the test. Just loved how she asked him if he was going to give her an inspirational speech and he said no and just sat there
