Hey everyone, Rose; Happy to hear from you. You had me worried for a minute. It's Italy Yea I'm going to bite the bullet and go for it. I can stay with my passport for (3( months, Have to go to the embassy to fill out forms for extended stay. Should not be a problem. I know people that work for the gov. I'm going back in march of next year, but I've been ask to come sooner, so, I'm looking at Thanksgiving. But really plan to leave around Christmas. I'm not used to being away from my family/friends holiday times. Usually Hollywood comes to New York from End of Oct thru Jan. I go to NY for the parties,shopping, shows,etc. You will be surprised at who may be seated at the table next to you for dinner or at the bar in a club. Atmosphere is very relaxed. And the hollywood actors are open and friendly. Steph gets into the best clubs. I stay with her sometimes when I go up. So, right now that's my plan. I'll be back later. I'm fixing a pot of tea and tea biscuits. Glad your back!!

Gloria--thanks hon. You are so good to care about everyone like you do. Your life is amazing, nothing close to anything like that here. Sometimes I think you are a celeb who is hiding out with us, lol. Where I live is kinda like Elmo on Men In Trees. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I have to ask you something I'm curious about---were you ever a reader of Victoria magazine? Because I could see you entertaining beautifully like that. It was a romantic magazine I loved and is going to be coming back.

hi everyone and my prayers for LAA KAT too. i too live in san diego area but im in good distance from it all. my family however up north and south are on their way to evacuate to our place. oh well ... better to be sardines than be in the inferno. hehe. but in all seriousnes, i do hope all this would end soon. i missed last weeks episode, i wonder if they've finally moved away from Crsitina's overcast of Burke. i'm just afraid that in the end it would all seem as if he never existed. i think thats pretty valid eh. anyways, good graces to everyone. it has not been a good week so far.

Thanks Rose, Oh no nothing like that. I just know alot of people. It's funny, even though I know a bunch of people. My close friends are a small group. I love Men in Trees.The scenery is quit beautiful. My friend Mary went to Alaska twice. She keeps telling me to go, and that I will love it. I plan to go, I just don't know when. Victoria Mag? UM,I don't think so. I don't know if I have ever heard of it. What type of Mag is it? Most of the mags I get are Travel,decorating/remodel entertainment and gardening. Oh, National geograghic. You did say it is an entertainment mag. No I don't recall it. cpk84 My prayers to your family and friends. Just be safe, that's all that matters. Things can be replaced. I saw the fires on TV. I can't even imagine how that must feel. There is just nothing you can do except get out of Mothernatures way. Sad but true. My HEART and PRAYERS to all OF MY Greys FAMILY and their friends/families. cpk84 you hang in there. Think of it this way.It could be worst. Your family is safe. That's a good thing. Cristina is doing just what any of us would be doing. Coping. And Der is trying to help her improve her relationship with her interns and help her with her bed side manner. Just as (Burke would have done.) Last week was about as good as this group of writers can get. It was not a season 1 or 2 epi. But Cristina is coming along slowly and realistic. Right now Mer is the problem. or should I say the writing for Mer is the problem. Okay all I'm going to watch last weeks epi. again. Will talk to everyone tomorrow. Everyone have a blessed nite. BF, Dinofigg,Liliana,Bayfront, BelgianGrey and anyone I've missed tonite. Good Nite.

Gloria--I love what you wrote to cpk84, such comforting words! bless you! I am looking forward to this week's Grey's because I like the Halloween/holiday theme. Maybe we will get to see something for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I hope it will be funny and Dr Hahn will be in it. I can't wait to see Alex & Ava. Victoria magazine had decorating, entertaining, travel, cooking, gardening, fashion & beauty. Very feminine/romantic. It was out of circulation for the past 4 years, and is now coming back. Should be out next week.

Kat and cpk84--I hope and pray you and your loved ones are safe and out of harm's way! What an ordeal you must be going through, and all those poor people in that area. The news is so tragic!!! We will be anxiously waiting to hear from you when you are able to let us know how you are. God bless!

I feel like all of these fires are everywhere in the media, and it makes me so emotional to think that I have friends out there suffering through them!! My prayers to all of you on the West Coast and to all of your friends and family!! WE ARE HERE FOR YOU AND WE LOVE YOU! ... i'm starting to cry thinking about all of the damage these fires cause to people and it makes me so sad :o/ i have gone through a lot in my life, but one thing that gets me through a lot is remembering that God is with me, and that he is on my side!! believe and have faith, God will get you all through!! Sending peace love and happiness from the east coast to the west!
