Unappreciated and Mistreated.
All the other couple have it easy well maybe Alex and Izzie. Callie and Arizona break up but get back together in one episode, and all of the sudden Arizona wants ten children with Callie, just because of a shooter who was even looking for them. Cris and Owen are getting married (which probably will be legal) in the season premiere after only one an half season of being together. They only have to endure Teddy for one season and it wasn't even a whole season and PTSD. Cristina only call Owen on his crap for like a second in the finale, but hey they are getting married probably in city hall.
As for MerDer they have to endure, Addison, Finn, the plant, Meredith drowning and depression, that wasn't enough we had to endure rocking engagement where Derek batted the ring into the woods, all because he was depress. They get an engagement but only to get married in a post it and that is all we are going to get according to Shonda. Hey that not enough suffering we need more, Derek get shot and Meredith miscarried. On top of it all we also have to endure more roommates at Mer's house, because Shonda doesn't have the decency of finishing building the house in the woods. Can we MerDer fans get something right, for god sake, something that make us completely happy.

Well, seing as they are the core-couple of the show, the protagonists, it makes sense that they had to endure more than others... otherwise, it wouldn´t be Grey´s Anatomy...
And when the focus on other couples, to add to the drama, people complain that they are taking the airtime from the core-couple...
I am a MerDer fan, always was, always will be... I thoght that the poist-it was sweet and perfect for them, and I´m patiently waiting for their dream house and their babies...
And, for one, I don´t really mind more people moving in, because:
1. I like seeing Mer taking care of her people
2. It´s going to make them rush the building of the house, so they can finally be alone^^

I for one don't mind the Post it, but do get why some people may get unappreciated and mistreated. Is like the reward is not as big as the suffering.
However I do mind more roommate and I thought the miscarriage was unnessary, unless some necessary good drama comes from it.
I don't mind MerDer getting less screen time so the others can get drama it is only fair since MerDer had a lot of screen time for 4 seasons, yeah the other should get drama.

What i ment was that, usually, when that happens (like Izzy getting cancer) people complain that the show ins´t "Steven´s anatomy"....

Is like ana114 said is like the reward is so small compared to the drama that MerDer had to endure. That is why I feel unappreciated and mistreated.

I understand... but i think, for me, some small things like the house of candles, or the elevator proposal, or Mer calling "post-it" about Der going to the board are kind of a reward to me... They had beautifull moments, and for me, it kind of compensates some of the drama...

I am unclear about what the complaint is. The title of this thread is "Am I the only MerDer fan who feels"...
I for one am glad for a "breather" (a little rest) in the rollercoaster of Merideth and Derrick. Honestly they couldn't be on and off forever. Derrick knows he loves her, she knows she loves him. Isn't this what we want for them?
Okay, I am out of energy. I had a bunch of ideas but they seem a bit too abstract for the moment. More later.

IMO, I'll never be happy with what the show gives me. It's little pieces and sometimes not enough. I feel to a point that SR doesn't know what to do with anyone who is happy and healthy.
I do feel robbed and mistreated and unappreciated but I can't say I didn't expect it. I KNEW that everything has a catch. However, it doesn't make the hit hurt less.
And like ana114 said, the payoff isn't really all satisfying for the crap thrown at us.

why are you all complaining so much, its a tv show, its not real. people are acting like its the end of the world. it really isnt.
,with all due respect, do you ever have anything remotely positive to say about this show, like ever. if you dont like it dont watch it.
people you cant control what happens on tv, you really cant, be happy with what the writers give us coz in couple years there wont even be a freakin tv show for anyone to ccomplain about.
i say we all just enjoy watching, enjoy the episodes we have and remember why we all like greys anatomy and stop with the negativity :)
