Thanks, MJ. What did you think of tonight's episode? I think it was good that he told her that he was afraid that if he didn't get back the full use of his hands he would not be of any use to her. I don't think she realized that by pushing his recovery so much that he would think she only loved the idea of THE Preston Burke, brilliant surgeon, and not Preston Burke, scared insecure, struggling to save his career. I loved her idea of helping him with the surgery by holding the instrument for him. I also loved that he was cooking for her again at the end of the episode. At least that much is back to normal. Their relationship just seems so real to me. I am so hoping he gets back full use of his hand and that their love for each other is stronger for having gone through this together.Posted 10/12/2006 1:00:00 AM #

Burke Backer--I loved tonight's episode with Burke and Cristina. I agree with everything you posted. I also like that he is letting Cristina take control and help, since he's always be the rock in the relationship. I don't know if Burke realizes it yet, but Cristina is willing to risk her career to help him, something she once told Izzie she shouldn't do, so that right there proves how much she loves him. And yes, the fact that she is pushing him is making him feel insecure and also I think he doesn't want to disappoint her. I posted earlier that Cristina isn't in love with Burke because he's a brilliant surgeon, if that was true she wouldn't hesitated about starting a relationship with him, or moving in with him. He will definitely get the use of his hand back again so they we can watch him do magic in the OR. We will also continue to see their relationship grow, although there may be a few more bumps along the way. I'm willing to bet by the end of Seanson 3, someone will propose. I think Preston and Cristina will be together for a loong time! well at least I hope they will be! they can't break up I mean that would be soo bad if they did! They are my favortie couple by far I love how she never shows her emotions but when she does you can tell how much Cristina loves Burke. Like in the premier when she told him "Don't ever Die" I almost cried!! it was such a sweet moment with them cause it really showed how much they love each other! and I really hope Burke gets his full movement in his hand back, I mean he has to he is one of the best surgeons at Seattle Grace!! poor Burke......i kind of agree with Burke, Christina wants "Dr. Burke" not Preston Burke but then again, she knows that he is happy when he is operating and at work and she is willing to do anything to make Der clear him for surgery so hes happyPosted 10/16/2006 1:00:00 AM #

I agree with doctor_yang she truly loves him and he loves her. she just wants to see him get better and be happy again because he is so depressed from not being able to perform surgery. She doesn't just want the Dr part of Burke she wants Preston Burke, the person.Posted 10/18/2006 1:00:00 AM #
