Their romance always comes off as lukewarm to me. Just when you think they are connecting and getting hot, something is off in the next scene. I think that they have one of the most realistic relationships, and I hope that they figure it out, but I would really love for Cristina's walls will come down some and we some real honest bonding

I just read a post about a Greys wedding, not saying exactly when. Any chance that could be our Burke and Cristina. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed. I think Cristina has warmed up to the thought of marriage. The first time it was mean't by Mama Burke, it surprised Cristina, but when she commented about it to Mer, she was comfortable talking about it. If we can't get a marriage this season, we should at least get an engagement.

the burke and christina front is kinda blah now. It was extremely suspenseful in the beginning but it seems like the writer/writers are pressed to find something... ANYTHING... to occupy the two characters. I hope something super comes out of their relationship in the next few episodes. And that at some point, more drama could develop between them... esp since Burke's mom is such a hostile *****.

OMG I just read what Shonda Rhimes said about a wedding!! I really think it is going to be Burke and Cristina!! I definetly jope it is they are the best couple ever!! I mean any other character hasn't been in a long term relationship like they have. George and Callie just broke up, Mer and Der he just got divorced, Alex has no girlfriend, and Izzie still isn't over Denny so she won't get married any time soon. This is awsome news! I really hope it is Burktina!

Remember she said "in the near future." That could be midseason or the end of the season. Hopefully, by then the tremor storyline will be wrapped up. Besides, Shonda likes to surprise up. Based on the current storyline, people are thinking that B/C will be breaking up (not me, the storyline is about Cristina being supportive, Cristina-style), so how surprising would it be if they were the ones getting married. And I can see Cristina agreeing to a big wedding, initially she would be reluctant, but something would change her mind. This would be great!!!

Vee, I'd love to see Burke and Cristina be the one to get married too, their definitely my couple of choice, but after last night's episode, I'm thinking it might be the Chief and his wife, maybe renewing their vows.

I would so love it if they were the ones getting married, and to me they are the only logical ones. They are really the only couple together. They are the only ones living together. Even if Cristina makes me crazy with overstepping her bounds and being too bossy, she is obviously doing what she is doing because she thinks it is best for Burke. Burke is so proud of her and the way she is preparing for the surgeries and helping him. I would love for them to be the center of the story for a while and a wedding would be a great way to do that. Meredith and Izzie would be beautiful bridesmaids. The two mothers would be hilarious trying to out control each each other. It is fun to imagine whether or not it actually happens. I'm afraid though that Chief and Adele renewing their vows is also a very real possiblity considering he can't sew a button on for himself. I really would be disappointed if that is the case. Now I am imagining how great a Burke and Cristina wedding would be.

I'd love to see the two mothers together, too. If we can't see a wedding between Burke and Cristina soon, another great moment would be for Burke and Cristina's parents to come for Thankgiving, and even better let Cristina attempt to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. Now wouldn't that be hilarious. It's funny just thinking about it.

That would be hilarious. I think Burke would cook, though, or his "Mama". I think Cristina would have a bit too much to drink trying to get through the day with the family. I loved the racist stripper line in episode two. His mother thinks she is a racist stripper. That still makes me laugh. I'm still hoping for a wedding though.
