Callie and Mark are just friends. They don't have romantic chemistry and they're just really good friends. I think Arizona will be good for her.

The sneak peak for this weeks episode shows what a great interaction Mark and Callie have as friends. They can play off each others relationship issues. Its like splitting a double act to make even more comedy. I love how Callie was like "So I went all talk in front of the peds surgeon and her date, now Im hiding from the peds surgeon" Looks like this will be a good episode for all story lines, not just hers. Cant wait :D

Callie is hot. Her story line is best as a lesbian. I want her to find love with a woman. It is wonderful to see a storyline like this on prime time television, its about time. Continue with Callie and Sloan being friends, best friends. And let her continue to date women, and hopefully find the one. Love it.

I hate that the Peps Dr calls her by her whole first name. When I first heard it I asked my girlfriend "What did she call her?" she replied "her first name"
Callie is my fav character (she is smokin) as a matter of fact my gf and her (except height) look a lot alike. I wish her and someone would get together but I do wish she would get past this Lez thing. I want her and George back together.

Hmm, I really love Callie's story line, ever since the whole Hahn thing I have thought it was fantastic and different and a real booster for the show. It's good to have a gay character on TV. I even think she doesn't think she has to decide her sexuality now, she's still figuring it out and whether she is gay, bi or straight, she should take her time and get it right.
Callie & Arizona are now my favourite ship, I think they will be good for each other and their scenes so far have been fantastic, some of my favourite. I have been a huge fan of both actresses for a long time and to see them in a story line like this makes me ecstatically happy. :)

Oh, and forgot to say, I think it's cute that Arizona calls her by her full name and Callie doesn't correct her. It is very sweet.

I agree, i think it's cute that Arizona calls her Calliope. I love Callie and Mark's characters but i don't think they were good in a relationship, but I really love how they take care of each other as best friends.

The one thing I really loved about the Callie/Erica storyline is that they had this amazing friendship. When Addison came back and asked Callie if she was speaking the vagina manologues is the first time she even considers the fact that she might be sexually attracted to Erica. The writers made her fall for who Erica was as a person, it didn't matter that she was a woman.
I love Jessica Capshaw. I think she is a great addition to Grey's. I hope she sticks around.
And the Arizona/Callie dance scene at the beginning at last weeks episode was so adorable.

Who knows with theses writers?? Even Jessica Capshaw, ( Arizona) said in an interview recently, Callie could go either way, her options are wide open. She finds both sexes appealing.
The difference in this relationship now, than with the others, is that she is falling in love with Arizona. The relationship is moving slowly, and Arizona has just the right temperament and personality for Callie. She is loving and patient with her. Arizona is actually in love with Calliope. She has confessed this to Calliope's father, and also made it known to her.
Unlike with George, I don't think he was ever really IN LOVE with Callie. He liked her very much but he was never in love with her. Mark finds her very sexually appealing. They had a common denominator, SEX! He is also able to talk to her as a true confident. She is like being one of the boys but with benefits! I don't think he is able to give her true love or nurturing of a real relationship. Mark has real baggage! He will need to get into concealing and assess his issues before he can really commit to a true and lasting relationship.
I think Callie knows this, she even called him on it in last weeks episode. She told him to get over his issues and find someone to love and have a baby with. It's time for him to grow up!! She is starting to realize what SHE really wants in a relationship, because she is growing and maturing being with Arizona. If the writers do decide to write Mark back into her life, it will definitely have to be after he gets some help with his issues.
Callie may still have other issues that she has not dealt with yet. She may long to be with a man eventually. She may want a baby and a more uncomplicated life being with a man. Who knows how the writer will go with this. Maybe Mark with get his crap together, wake up and decide that Callie is the girl for him. I mean they started out as friends, the are (Work husband and Work Wife). The writers could write them back in as a couple??
Personally, I feel that she belongs with Arizona. Callie is good with Arizona. Arizona is ready to give love and receive love and that is what Callie wants and needed all along.
She has wanted that ever since she married George! She just got side tracked because she wasn't getting it. Arizona loves her, and Callie can see this. She sees in arizona all the things she has been looking for. I hope the writers will cultivate this relationship. Take their time with this one, cause it is a good one!
