Welcome TDS!!! Thanks for chiming in!! It means a lot! Especially when AI and Alex fans are noticing and calling for more George!! He has been practically invisible. So much so that I pathetically clinch onto any little scene I can get of him lately!!! My faves lately was when he gave Mer the "I can't believe you two were ever best friends" lecture about Sadie and my most fave was when he spoke to Izzie over the mic when she was having the interns do an MRI on her. That was a great scene. But so short. I am so desperate for George that the 20 seconds I got there-- when he was talking to Izzie was like something sacred!!! The last scene they had when she was waiting in the Dermatology office was so disappointing, I wanted to cry. Izzie should have told George there. Blurted it all out. THAT's what Izzie would do. Actually, she probably would have told him LONG before that scene. Just didn't make sense that it didn't get said between them, you know? Is Shonda punishing TR like some fans suggest? It's hard not to start thinking that after months of 20 second clips of George each epi!! So, thanks for the support! We George and Gizzie fans really need it right now!!! (b-t-w-- I too, am an Alex fan-- just not so much of Alex and Izzie as a romantic couple)
drcookchick-- I hope you are right that Shonda does read everything. And if she is ignoring us, that our voices will get so loud, so strong that she'll have to start listening. Right? That's what I'm hoping!!!!

Oh yeah I totally agree greysaddiction.. I wasn't all for George and Lexie.. it just seemed really weird. I don't think I would have minded seeing them date and realize they're not for each other! hahah
But definitely, it was weird the way they totally dropped the situation. Whatever she needs to quit punishing him or whatever she's doing. Just get over it people. lol (:

Hello people!
I am sooo sad that george just sort of vanished, like what? He seems to get less and less time! Its getting annoying. And the george and izzie and george friendship was prolly the best friend ship on the show. I love(d) it! Them as a couple wasnt my fave in the beginning, but after a while, it grew on me. Dont get me wrong, Alex and Izzie are pretty goofd, but she needs george. even if they are not together, she needs him. she needs to chat with him, and tell him things. And He should have been the first to notice that Izzie was acting odd. He always noticed that stuff? :S After all my rambling, (sorry, i talk alot) all i can say is MORE GEORGE PLEASE!

Greysaddiction- Yes I am a HUGE Gizzie fan! Sorry for not replying sooner :) I really loved the Gizzie romance at the beginning but twoard the end i kinda knew it wasn't gonna last. Best Freinds don't always make the best relationships.
I can't remember who said it (I think it was Melissa George) but this is what she said about Shonda: She's a really nice person, until she wants to punish you...
So maybe TR did something or said something (but I really can't imagine him doing that) that pissed her off and now she wants to punish him.
I too loved the MRI scene, I've seen it like a hundred times since it aired! I've been watching Grey's on lifetime (they just showed S1E9 on sunday) and all i could think to myself was ' Awwwww i miss George!' If you wanna watch the earlier stuff it airs on sundays at 11eastern/10 central. All though I have no idea if those times help you cause I have no idea what time zone you live in lol! I am also on the official website (same name minus the ' in grey's) All I have left to say is:
BRING BACK GEORGE!

Hi, everybody. You asked for support, so here I am, checking in. :) I personally am more of AI fan as a romantic couple, but i LOVE George's and Izzie's friendship. I miss that. It was one of the basics of the show, apart from MerDer, Burktina and Cris and Mer. They already got rid of Burke, and they are doing the same for George. I mean, him getting 30 seconds per episode is just not enough. I agree, the MRI scene was one of the best this season, i really, really miss George's interaction with everybody, especially Iz. He became a living ghost. So, I just want to say
BRING US OUR LOVED GEORGE!!!!

Yeah before getting on this site.. I never really read or knew any of the drama behind the show..
Anyone know what George did to get this treatment? I thought I heard someone say he didn't like the storyline he was getting.. so he may have complained? If so, what's the big deal anyway? That doesn't mean write him out.. it means fix it. Aww maybe he'll be on tomorrow night. Can't wait

Welcome McAbby, gottahavemygrey's and MerDer fan 4ever!!! Thanks so much for posting!!! We need all the support we can get for George and for Gizzie friendship!! I have been hearing it out there and I'm so glad everyone's responding to posting in one spot, in such an organized fashion, that if Shonda reads at all, she won't be able to miss it!!!
gottahavemygrey's-- thanks for the tip about Lifetime showing old epis! I've seen a poster mention it b/f but I didn't know exactly when they were showing it! I'm in the eastern time zone-- so 11pm is it for me! Wish it was earlier b/c I am up early Monday mornings, but it's worth the sleep deprivation to me :)
I swear, EVERYONE misses George!!! Except Shonda, I guess.

That's all I can think of at this point... that Shonda is punishing TR for some reason-- for this to have gone on for this long. I also heard the rumor about him shooting down storylines that they had for him. Dont' know if that's true. If it is, maybe she just got mad and decided not to give him any storyline at all. I've also heard other fans suppose that she is punishing him b/c of IW getting fired-- that supposedly she is good friends w/ IW and hated having to fire him b/c of his slur. That would be crazy though, b/c I can't imagine she would disagree with IW's slur being way out of line... ???? idk-- it baffles me. I wish I had an answer. No, I actually wish I didn't have an answer, but that it all changed and we started seeing George more right away!!!
MerDer fan 4ever-- thanks so much for posting!!! I love that even AI fans are able to rally in support of George and Gizzie friendship. That rocks!!
I hope you are right, McDreamyFace-- I hope he'll be on tomorrow night. I hope he helps Izzie, starting this epi. How's this for fun.... if you were to write George in tomorrow, if you were penning that part of the epi, how would you write his role? and his interaction w/ Izzie? How would things go down, if they were done by a Gizzie friendship fan??
