Hey cindy.
I am so excited. I missed the episode but a Gizzie scene put those scenes on YT and we GI fans had a mini-party over it.
It was about time. I cried when Izzie said she would be honoured to be like him.
That is the real Gizzie, the one that have a connection without even having to touch.
George just knew. Two minutes with her and he figures it out. He knows her so well.

I heard the Ausiello said that George is going to die. WTF? Where is he getting info like that?
I watched the episode yesterday and I think my heart melted every single time George was on screen :-P His little "Helllooo..." to what he said to Izzie in the end. He made me giggle, tear up and everything else with his few seconds on screen. That's more than any other character can do in their regular airtime for me.
More Gizzie?! Now I'm seriously looking forward to that. I noticed he was in the preview twice, too. Hey, is it just me, but in every preview from the last couple seasons it seems that features George he's always running. Maybe that's what he's been doing... He's been running! Training for the Seattle Grace Triathlon :-P Yeah, my poor attempt at humor at 8:07 AM...
Here's my theory: In the next episode George is going to get not one, not two, not six, but FOUR scenes (they build 'em up. Week after that it'll be five, then back to a five second clip of him in the background eating a sandwich) and in one of those he'll figure out that Izzie is patient X. I swear, they're really wasting T.R.'s acting talent if they don't include him in this story....
Anyway, it was a good episode. Here's to more Gizzie in the near future!

LOL I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the 4 scenes comment.
I don't get it. George is so popular and there is so much more for him to do., Find love, be;lieve in himself, find what he wants to do as a doctor, asset himself really.
I don't get why Shona suddenly hates this character she used to love so much, and why she is making all the George fans pay for it.
Yeah George made me laugh, cry and smile.
He always brings the gamut of emotions in me. TR is such an amazing actor.

The Heelloo line was so good. It was one word, but it showed how great actor TR Knight is. It's such a shame that they are wasting both his and character's potential. It's just too little screen time. He is really an amazing actor that deserves a lot better treatment than he's getting from Shonda.

Hey everyone!!
I have not had much time to post lately-- or even read!!! But I'll tell you, I was over the moon with those Gizzie scenes!!! Heeellllooooo!!!!! They were phenomenal!!!!! The chemistry is so still there. George is still our George. He shines with Izzie. And it's so obvious that Izzie shines with George. I did see a post or two here and there that fans thought Izzie was more like her old self today. I bet that was 100% attributable to the fact that she and George were talking in this epi!!! Oh, oh, OH!!! love it, Love it, LOVE IT!!!!

I have been on FF at all. I logged on quickly and I have so much to read!!! But that is good b/c it's all excitement-- all good stuff!!! I love your suggestion about sending Shonda the link on Grey Matter-- sounds AWESOME!!! I can't believe you missed the epi though!!?? At least you saw the Gizzie scenes on YT. Did you watch the whole epi yet?? It was all powerful!!
drcookchick-- is that a new spoiler for Ausiello??? or old stuff? I know he had said that in the past.... I don't know why. The latest that I had heard was that Patrick Dempsey was on the view and said no one was leaving. George simply can't leave. My heart would break in a million pieces w/o him and w/o Gizzie.
I really hope and pray that we get LOTS more Gizzie time to come!!!

I love this thread. George and Izzie are my favorite couple and my favorite friendship.
I was so thrilled to see them having scenes. TR and Katie = pure magic together.
George needs more than 3 minutes per episode though, sniff. He is the best.
