Can someone here explain to me Season 3, because I don't get it.

    Well, that explains it. I also felt kind of odd that she returned like nothing happened and it only seemed that Derek was reeling from it. I feel for EP because it couldn't be easy to portray this SL with so confusing times and external issues to deal with.

    When was this interview MerDer4EveR? (Thanks for the quote BTW).

    I think it was sometimes in Season 3 after the drowning episodes.. but I don't know exactly when..

    Oh how I wish when MD will be dealing with Derek's shooting and his NDE, they will mention Mer's. They never dealt with it, and it was huge!!

    EP was confused as us after that SL. I really feel sorry for her. Both Patrick and her deserved better. The end of S3 and S4 were the worst.

    I think it will come up. I can't see Derek coming out of this shooting without some bad times, so maybe Meredith letting him know what mistake was that she gave up will help Derek.

    IDK, I just hope it does make sense, hehe.

    I got to say I understood what happened between Mer and Der in season 3, when I saw the serial killer arc in season 5 and further understood it during Der dark period in season 5.I was like AHA so that is why Derek and Meredith has so many issues in season 3. Derek's black and white mentality, and Meredith's ability to see the gray. Derek didn't understand Meredith's way of seeing things that why he wasn't able to reach her in season 3.
