I'm kind of thinking that this episode of Owen accidentally hurting Cristina is going to bring Owen's PTSD out into the open for the other doctors to finally see it. So far, only Cristina knows. I too am hoping for the long awaited Owen and Cristina sleep over. Slow and steady is good but wow, this has been a really long time.

Totally agree. There was a pic of Derek doing a CT to Owen. So, we'll see how it goes. But we have to say that PTSD isn't something easy to hide. Eventually other attendings will find out.

Q: This is my first time asking a question, so, for the sake of a newbie's sanity, could you please give a good Grey's Anatomy spoiler on Cristina and Owen?
A: Sorry, but the hazing section of the AA bylaws state that all virgin question-askers must be given an ugly, painful spoiler their first time out. With that in mind, remember me telling you that Owen's PTSD would cause him to physically harm Cristina? Well, that little scratch last week wasn't it. The violence I was referring to comes next week when Owen strangles the you-know-what out of her.

He strangles her? OH MY GOSH! This guy must be kidding. I can't believe it. Owen, my Owen... our Owen? Could that be something forgivable? Would you forgive someone who strangles you? I think that it's a low blow from Shonda to the Owen/Cristina lovers.

I'm pretty sure he's not making it up....and if you notice in the promo for next week, Cristina is wearing a turtle neck....most definitely to hide the marks. What I don't get is...if he's asleep why would she risk waking him after what happened in the hall with him already? And if he's not asleep, why would he strangle her....so my theory is this.....they are BOTH asleep and he's dreaming. Which means they finally hook up???? What do you think....Cristina did complain that they hadn't done anything more than kiss.
Loved the GI Joe comment from Mer and loved Owen and Bailey together....he had cleared his schedule to watch Cristina's solo surgery (awe!) but he couldn't stand up to Bailey. Notice he also told Derek that he doesn't talk about Iraq.
I admit it....I'm addicted to Owen and Cristina!

LOL! I could tell by your nickname. ;) Hahaha. Well, I am too, so no hard feelings.
I've to say that if he does it in his sleep... well, it'd be quite weird. Can you imagine him turning around in the bed and strangling her with his eyes closed? That would be awkward to the extreme. In the beginning I had this suspicion about her saying something that made him replay a painful scene in his head and consequentially snap. But now that you offered this theory, I find it far more probable. But awkward nevertheless. Anyways, we know that Shonda Rimes loves awkward. ;)
It would be awesome if they actually get to the action part. Because, honestly, we're all hanging from a string here... waitining for the big moment to take place. And it'd be awesome if it happens sooner than later. The girl needs it! And well, Owen needs it even more. LOL
I also loved the GI Joe part. I've a blast everytime Meredith and Cristina talk. And did you notice that they usually talked about each other as 'my person'? Well, in this episode Meredith actually says 'my best friend' like a normal person! LOL... I love them.
I laughed... a lot when I saw Miranda trying her move on Owen and to see his face, it was priceless. It was like a kindergarten kid being reprimanded by his teacher. Cristina has the whole facial expression thing. Her eyes sometiumes don't say much, but the faces she pull tell you all you need to know. Owen, on the other hand, he's all about the eyes. You can read his soul by looking into his eyes. They are wonderful together.
I was like AWWWW when he spoke to Derek. He doesn't talk about Iraq... but he talked about it with Cristina. That was heart melting. He really loves her. :)

I'm looking forward to next week but at the same time I'm not....I really don't want to see Owen hurt her. I hate to think of Cristina even thinking of giving up on their relationship, or Owen staying away because he's afraid of hurting her. I just know that's what is going to happen. He's going to try to end it because he doesn't want to hurt her. Anxious to see what goes on with him and the psychiatrist.
And then, horror of all horrors....it looks like another gap week. UGH!

NOOOOOOO, my gosh! Before he recovers!!!! It will take him some time to recover. A pretty long time. For Meredith it was like several sessions. For him, it should certainly be more. His problems took him to the stage were he can harm people. Unintentionally, but harm them nevertheless. So, it will be a long ride towards mental sanity.
I'd like it to happen before because that way he gives her something to wait for. Let's be honest, he must be good. Well, he looks like he's good at you know what. So, if they have the thingy before the harm is done and he leaves for some space, temporarily we hope... well, then she'd have tasted it and it would be still more tempting. It's like I don't know...

But not any hunger, you long for chocolate. Sweet, delicious, tempting chocolate that melts in your mouth, leaving its distinctive mark on your palate even when you've already swallowed it. If you don't succumb to this temptation you'll eventually feel that sense of urgency slowly but certainly fade away. But if you tiptoe to the kitchen and open one of the shelves, taking the object of your apetite... if you unwrap it, swearing that you'll just take one bite, good luck with that. Because you'll find that one bite is not enough. And you will find the craving stronger and more persistent.
That's what I'd like to happen. That's how I'd like it to go between Owen and Cristina. Because I think that it'd be pretty dull if we just sit arounf for what? four? five more episodes expecting them to actually get into the action field. They have already pushed us over to the edge. I mean, eighteen episodes? I'm not that patient. :S
Tell me what you think. It's just another point of view.
