mchottieaddict - yeah, being sick is pretty awful in the spring. especially since school is finally over. i have been watching some episodes from this season...the ones with good O/C scenes. homework in the summer, huh? that kind of bites. i can't believe our last episode of greys is this week and we will have to wait four unbearable months for a new one. did you happen to read shonda's blog? she said this episode will be "cliff hanger-y". how terrible. i'm hoping the cliffhanger will be with izzie...as mean as that sounds. i guess what i mean to say is that i hope we wont be left hanging with owen and cristina.

owen cannot leave. because he is our favorite. because he is the greatest guy on tv. and because cristina needs him. (not to mention that he has a contract).

i really wish they would sell the season 5 dvd's during the summer. but i guess they have always sold them when the new season comes out. oh well.

I agree with you, dinofiigg. Finally we get a REAL man on the show, hehe (sorry to all Derek fans...but...well, he is McDreamy not McHottie).

I live in Austria, tomorrow we will watch episode 5 here (Owen will start his job at SGH). I am really excited, because I will get the chance to enjoy all the Cristowen moments again ^.^

awww dinofigg I definitely hope you feel better!

I never thought I would buy another boxset again after buying Season 2 years ago since it's not cheap. But yea after the appearance of Major Hunt, gosh I just knew I gotta get it! However by the time it is released I guess all of us would be into the new season ^^

Season finale this week............how am I gonna spend my summer without grey's :(

    McGrey's:

I watch all episodes in English because I think the original voices are much better than the German voice overs Wink.

Especially Kevin McKidd has a fantastic voice *rrr*- just can't wait for the finale and the next season...

I watch the episodes in english too. But I also watch them in german.

The original voices are much better - yeah, you're right. But german Grey's is better than no Grey's ^^

i watched two episodes of greys from this season today on my plane ride back home :) so minus the fact that i have a horrible sinus infection, i'd say that was a pretty good plane ride lol.

stitchgal, i own s1 & s2 on DVD. but it just got too expensive, like you said. but YES! after owens arrival on the show...s5 is a must have. haha.

mcgreys, yes - a REAL man! no worries here, we all love owen and think he is the greatest ! do you watch the shows in english on abc.com? haha it must be interesting to watch them in german...do the voices match the actors' lips?

i have no idea what i'm going to do without greys for a whole summer...does anyone know if they will be playing re-runs throughout the hiatus?

You're right Wink. But in Austria you can also watch Grey's in English (you can switch between English and German on ORF) - a lot of people don't know that.

    dinofiigg:

As far as I know you can only watch the episodes on ABC when you're living in the US?

    >>haha it must be interesting to watch them in german...do the voices match the actors' lips?

Yeah, the German voice overs match very well, but if you've heard the original voices once, you wouldn't go back to German I guess (especially Izzies and Owens original voices sound so much better- for every Katherine Heigl Movie I go to the English cinema because of that).

    >>oh, i just read on eonline that shonda tweeted that there will be some good owen & cristina scenes.

Smile I really, really hope so!

Here in Malaysia, they just aired episode 8 of season 5. Got to see Denny's return all over again. Hah.

We don't have Bahasa Melayu voiceovers, we do have subtitles though.

dinofiigg: Season 5 is the first season i watched in english. I was a little shocked when I heard the voices, haha. But know I think that the original is way better than the german dubbing.

I like the german voices too, espacially George's and Mer's, but Owen's dubbing is...uhm...not that manly as his own voice is ^.^ But all in all the dubbing-guys do a really nice job.

I watch Grey's at ch131.com. On abc (as Liz said) you can only watch when you're in the US.

And yeah, I hope there will be some more Cristina and Owen scenes. Summer is a really long time...

Liz: I know there is a way to switch the language...but I have no idea how to do that (I'm not a technical genius). I guess on "Teletext" is a description? I will find out later. :)
