Aahh I see now. He has the typical british look when he is blonde and maybe that's why he has to have red-headed in GA? but whatever it is I'm a sucker for british accent :p I agree with Liz, I'm not into red-haired guys too but he looks so good in it! And I still think his beard is a must....gosh I'm crazy....

i don't usually like guys with red hair either, but the beard & the red hair definitely make owen incredibly sexy. i loooove british accents ;] haha stitchgal i am right there with you...i feel totally crazy haha.

stitchgal, i'm going to italy & france for 3 weeks in july. have you ever been? it's my first time so if you have any pointers let me know.

oh, i think kevin's natural hair color is what he has in maid of honor...i think...i remember seeing an interview with him and he says his natural color is dirty blonde.

His natural color is definitely blond.  If you see him in Journeyman or anything else he's been in, he's blond.  I've never seen anything about why he went red for this role though.  Maybe it was to make him look different from the guy he played in Journeyman.  Or maybe it was because the beard was coming in red and they told him either shave or die the hair to match!  Who knows!

I have to say that I'm a sucker for the red heads now but only because I somehow ended up with red headed kids which was a total genetic shock!  (not the carrot top red but nice little strawberry blond/auburn kids - maybe I'll start telling people McKidd is their real father since I'm tired of people asking me if daddy has red hair and having to respond that daddy has brown eyes and brown hair, thank you very much!)

dinofiigg - I'm sooo jealous!  I've been dying to go to Italy for years!  I've been to Germany but that's it.  Have a safe trip and soak up some art for me!

i can't wait for my trip! it should be eventful...hopefully. ha, definitely will be soaking up the art! as i said before, art really isn't my thing but i'm sure once i begin my tourist stops i'll get into it. how was germany? we aren't going there this time, but i've heard wonderful things about it! i'd love to go someday.

dinofiigg -  I don't think you'll have a choice about soaking up the art....in Italy, it's everywhere.  Germany was totally different.  Not a huge fan of the food and didn't speak the language but most people spoke English.  I liked the southern Bavaria part a lot.  Biggest problem was that I was 16 and stuck with my parents and older sister for two weeks in a foreign country while my boyfriend was back home.  So needless to say, I really didn't WANT to go at the time.  Now I look back and wish I'd appreciated it more.  I really want to get to Great Britain (Yea! Scotland!) and Italy.

Wow so you two have literally been to or are going to the 2 foremost countries I've been dying to go! Nice and lucky you guys!! I've been wanting to go Milan and Rome since forever but I guess that would have to wait until I graduate, start working and saving up money. I've been to France but that was like 5 years ago I think. I didn't quite like my experience there as compared to London but still the whole Europe trip was an amazing experience! There're lotsa AMAZING museums and churches in France. I'm sorry I don't quite recall the names of the places but one museum still stood up in my mind and that's Chateau de Versailles which I highly recommend. :)Oh and it's a nice surprise that the people there in Germany speaks English, now I would love to study abroad there....oh no no I would pick Spain cos I wanna practice my Spanish there...Whatever it is my dream would be to tour the whole of Europe :D

mchottieaddict - maybe i'll discover my artistic side in italy ha ha. i am very excited though. i could see why you didn't really enjoy your germany trip at the time...16 & leaving a boyfriend at home? not that i'm much older than that but a teenager having to go on a trip with mom & dad and leaving behind the boyfriend? i'm sure anyone that age would feel the same way lol. i went to the UK the year after i graduated. WHAT A PLACE! Ireland, Scotland, and England were just amazing. i really contemplated whether to go back this year or not...i love all three. my favorite is probably scotland, ediburgh is a wonderful city. you should definitely try to make your way over there because the UK is really a great place to go.

stitchgal - i want to tour europe, too! i'm only going to france and italy...that's virtually nothing in relation to the rest of the continent! i'll definitely look into that museum you spoke of. are you fluent in spanish? or at least studying it?

i just hope 3 weeks isn't too long to spend in italy & france.

In Germany, they start the kids on English in school in like 5th or 6th grade....around 11 or 12 I think.  I think it's mandatory.  Then a few later they usually start another language like Spanish or French.  When we went to visit, my cousin was about 12 and she'd just started taking English and I had 2 years of HS German under my belt but I couldn't do much more than ask where the bathrooom was or say the bad words my dad had taught me (he was born there).

I'm hoping someday to get to Great Britain and Italy.  I'm a huge fan of the Renaissance and I have Scottish roots on my mom's side.  I love Scottish and Irish heritage...even gave my kids British names which goes well with the red hair!

It cracks me up that you two (dinofiigg and stitchgal) are so young.  I don't feel much different than I did when I was still in college.  Well I'm back in school again but I did the whole 4 years on campus right out of high school thing.  Time sure flies afterwards though.
