mchottieaddict - ha, i'm not that young! i'll be 20 in a few months here! well...maybe that's a little young. if you don't mind me asking, how old are you? and where did you go to college? i love the 4 year college life :D it's really, really fun lol. but a lot of work (i guess that comes with my major ha). i sure hope you get to great britain someday! there's seriously so much to see, my favorite part was visiting all the castles and the scottish highlands. omg, so amazing.

dinofiigg....I'm sooo old! I graduated HS and college in the 90's for crying out loud! I'm a ripe old 33! Married with a 7 year old son and a 4 year daughter! And when you get old like me, TV shows are your escape from the doldrums of real life that includes paying bills, working 40 hours a week (if not more), doing laundry, and driving kids to hockey practice.
I went to college at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I got a BFA majoring in photography and minoring in drawing. Now I'm going to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh online for graphic design. I still live in Ohio in a small town outside of Columbus. My husband and I have been together since we were 16 and went to HS and college together.
Someday, I plan on getting over to Great Britain....I just have to save my pennies. You'll understand when you get out of school and have all the student loans and mortgage payments. My husband got his masters in Physical Therapy a couple of years ago and the loan payment is for 20 years and that was just for 2 years of school!

haha 33 is not that old! that's very sweet about you & your husband! high school sweethearts :] oh god i can't even begin to think about how i'm going to repay my loans. i got a partial scholarship and my parents are paying the for the rest of my undergrad...but when it comes to med school i'm on my own. i will be in some serious debt!! i've never been to ohio, it's really cold in the winter, huh? i absolutely hate cold weather. i'm pretty much a wuss when it gets below 70! i grew up in southern california and now i'm a weakling!
your kids play hockey? that is so cool! hockey is virtually nonexistant here. i like watching it though.

Yeah, the loans bite. I finished paying off my ones from the first time around and then stupidly decided to go back to school and take out more! Ohio winters are the pits. It's gray and cold and just ugly. We don't usually get a ton of snow but some. I could live without it. I haven't been to California since I was 6 and we went to San Fran on vacation.
My son Rhys plays hockey. He turns 7 this month. He's been skating for 2 years and he's getting pretty good. My daughter Devyn is a girly girl...we haven't convinced her that girls can play hockey so I think she's going to be a swimmer.

mchottie - SanFran is pretty fun, but southern california is the place to be. my college is up near sf but i definitely prefer socal.
Rhys! What a great name! 7 years old & already a hockey player? very cute. i used to swim and then eventually played water polo. but my main sport is track. i was going to run in college but then i tore my ACL & it just never healed well enough to run a such a high level again.

wow look at all these posts, i feel like I've known you guys a lot better through all those exchanges. mchottie, you're blessed with 2 wonderful kids. Devyn is a beautiful name and I would love to have a girly girl in the future whom I can pamper! And yea, I guess the loan thing is stressing many of us out huh. Right now my parents are paying for my tution fees too but I'm also gonna be in a serious debt when I do my masters after completing my undergrad(hopefully ^^). I'm a big dreamer and would really wanna move to nyc for graduate studies and later advance my career there. But as I've said I'm a dreamer and an idealist so who knows if it's gonna happen...
So how's summer going for everyone?

Hello everyone, I feel that there is nobody to share Spanish talks on the range or other things. I love owen hunt, the first time she saw me enamore Gray's Anatomy of the loss that hurts .. my boyfriend is not so handsome. owen hunt seems terribly sexy, radical, very unpredictable .. dinofiigg - that stinks about your knee! I hear about all that stuff from my husband all the time because he's a PT. I was never into sports in school...I was too artsy. But I love that my son plays hockey. It's fun and good for him.
stitchgal - Summer is just starting! I only have a couple more weeks left in algebra class and so far my husband is getting an A! Ha ha! I've made him help me out because I just don't get it. He grumbles but that's what husbands are for. Once this class is over I have a break for a few weeks before my next one starts. I envy you guys having the whole summer off. I remember being in school and working FT all summer to make money for the next year. I only took one 6 week summer session where I stayed up at school and it was rough. 3 classes and I had to read 14 books in 6 weeks! I was reading constantly! All just to graduate in 4 years.

stitchgal, how are you? my summer has been great so far. just kind of hanging out here. the weather sucks, but it should burn off pretty quickly i'm hoping. how's yours? when are you going to graduate? i'd LOVE to study in NYC. but i'm not sure if it offers what i'm looking for :(
mchottie - glad to hear your math class is coming along well. what is your next class? hopefully it's something you'll enjoy more than math...lol. i have to work over the summer so i can make some money to save up for med school. kinna bites.
