Nikki didn't I tell you. That Shonda!!!! Omg I could not believe my eyes. Why are they all hugged up??? And Cristina standing right there!!! Oh, I know I'm going to NEED WINE to get me through this show tomorrow!!! YES, LOTS OF WINE!!!

OMG, Gloria! Finally somebody shares my feelings! Loads of wine indeed. And you don't know the worst part. I'm from Argentina... here they're playing 5x02 so imagine... if I didn't know English, I would actually have to wait, what? Two months? Three?
But thank God, I entered to this site and found that they upload GA episodes the day after it's aired on the USA. So, I get to see them on Friday. Anyways, I feel so envious, because you all will get to see it before me :( (tissues over here, please). Anyways, please do update me after you watch it. I want to know what will happen. I'm really anxious... and right now I'm studying for uni exams, so I'm anxious x 2.
And to Nikki, I thought about what you said, you know... the whole flashback story. And the Shonda being innocent. Lol! And I think it isn't that necessary for spicing things up. You have a damaged and troubled guy, Owen, who is trying to get going with his life... And on the other hand, you have our competitive, sarcastic, greedy and yet loveable Cristina. Aren't things spicy already? Come on, it's a hell of a job to make this two be an actual couple. And it's noticeable when you take into account the fact that they hadn't slept together yet.
Remember Burke? All fireworks and ba ba di - ba ba di - uh! And Owen?
"You have problems. You have big problems." And those damn problems he has are making the whole relationship thing go slower. And we're talking about Cristina here, where slow is like the speed of a turtle taking baby steps. Imagine what slower means then and you'll have the right equation: OWEN + CRISTINA
It's nice, but I think some, "OK, let's take a big step." would be nice too. I read somewhere that apparently, Owen's mum/dad will appear on the show. If I find the link again I'll post it here. That, the whole mum/dad thing would be a good change of pace. And will surely cut the tension of the hot and cold stuff. What do u think?

hey florenck137, owen's parents are coming?? seriously? wow.. i think it would be awesome.. they can fill in the blanks over his character..
i actually like the way they're trying to take it slow.. i know this is going really slow.. but i'm enjoying the flirtation..
i like this is diferent then how it was with burke..
I'm from Portugal and for some reason this new season isnt on the air anymore.. i don't even know why? i have to download every episodes on friday.. so i'm always a day behind =\

Yeahhh, it seems so... or that's what i read at least. One of his parents, don't which one yet. And maybe it's not this season. We'll see. The thing of running behind also happens to me, so don't worry. :) We can suffer in unison. LOL
I get it's different than Burke, but I think the slow motion music they played on the backgrounf of 5x14 was a little too much. Don't u? I like romance. Don't tell anybody. I'm kinda Cristina in real life but am pro love things when I'm running solo. Anyways, as lovey dovey as I can get when watching movies or tv programmes or even reading a book, I think there's romance and there is cheesy. And I think that the music was over the top, over cheesy... it was just plain over. Too much.
But I've to admit that they made a good parallel between Cristina saying that reading the journal was like reading an old romance and the kind of music played, which actually belongs more to an old romance kind of programme. So, cheers, to the guy or girl who's on charge of sounds!
To be honest, on that epi I was waiting the second chance date to take place. I don't see now how they're going to make these two go out. First he blows it, now his ex fiance blows it. What's next? Cristina wasting the third chance? But well, credits to Shonda... whe knows how to pull it off.

i found the slow motion scene funny i laught through it all
i dont have any idea about the date.. but i liked the way cristina was there for him when owen was freaking out.. i think that's gonna tell him something.. since she doesnt know what she's doing... (her own words)

The build-up on the Owen/Cristina relationship is really getting intense..... an embrace would have been nice after the "see me" scene or a touch ..... that's not too much to ask.....
Hopefully, there'll be intimate moments again with these two next week....

Lol, you're so right! When he said the last see me and she looked up, I was like what??? No touching her hair? Because if you see everytime he gives her an intense look, his hand suddenly approaches her hair. It's like instinct. When he fisrt kisses her. Then, when he kisses her in the alley. And if he doesn't touch her hair, he looks at it as if it were the most beautiful thing in the world. And you catch the hint when he tells her to wear her hair up more often.
He chose her! Isn't it grand? I mean, it was kinda the right thing to do, in my eyes... but anyways, i took a huge income of air before the show and let it out when he unlocked Beth's arms from around his neck. Poor girl, that must suck. I thought that it was the right time for Cristina to tell him about Burke. But maybe Shonda has better plans. Who knows.
I loved the tone he used on the intern when he went over to Cristina and asked her for her symptoms. And it was really cool, how smooth she waved him off, as if Owen wasn't there. I know, I'm on Owen's side! I swear, but sometimes it's nice when girls are mean to guys. :) Anyways, loved the on call room chat they had. I thought there was gonna be some reference to the previous epi but apparently they both want to leave it behind. The question is, for how long? He's an army man and he surely had seen a lot, so how long will it last his sanity before he loses it again?

I've a huge doubt. Apparently, he broke his engagement before going to Iraq. But was it before he met Cristina? 'Cos they aren't exaclty clear about that one.
